The new seal is great, except that it is so thick that I have a little trouble opening the door now. The latch does not want to release unless I press the door in, due to the thick, new seal. Hopefully it will get better with time. It’s been a couple weeks so far.

I've tried a couple other aftermarket weatherstrips for my 99 TJ and they have always been too thick. I didn't have high hopes for this one but was pleasantly surprised. After initially installing it, the door was a little hard to close but within 1 or 2 days it appears to have molded to the opening and now it fits perfectly. I highly recommend this brand.

This was a perfect fit replacement for the dried out and leaking door on my 2001 TJ. It took no more than 10 minutes to put into place.

I just installed the Dorman driver’s door seal on my 2002 Wrangler. Fit great, all the clips lined up with the original holes in the door. Took me about 20 minutes. Rubber is supple, not hard foam. Door takes more force to shut but that’s expected since the old door seal was worn out.Installation notes: What worked forme was to get the front top corner of the seal lined up with the corner of the window frame first. Then install the first clip near the door handle and first clip near the door hinge. Work out from the upper corner pushing the seal into the door channel with plastic trim tool while working towards each clip. Installation of the seal along the bottom requires simply lining up the clips with the holes in the door. It came with extra clips but I didn’t need them.

Product came twisted and I had to cut it to get the twist out. Also had way to many tabs for my door but otherwise fits good. Doors a little tight but I'm assuming over time it will get better. Works good to keep stuff out tho.
