Not even a year but went up to my mast to evaluate another antenna install and found these clamps have totally rusted, not just minor surface rust. Not sure how long they can clamp before failing from rust.

These u-bolt joiners come in very handy, for sure, but they do seem a tad expensive.

I used this to transition from a 1.5" pipe to a 1.25" pipe for an antenna mast. Worked like a charm.

Overall these are okay. The struggle I had was that my mast diameter was only 1” and the threads on the u-bolt don’t go down far enough to clamp onto a mast with that small of a diameter. So, I had to add a ton of washers to the hardware to get the nuts to tighten down.

Used these clamps to attach a 1 inch electrical conduit pipe to a 1.25 inch pipe to mount a TV antenna. Worked as expected and a good value. I would just avoid overtightening the clamps because, at least in my case, the clamps started to spread apart when I tried to apply a lot of force.
