Great strings. Easily bendable. Durable and look cool.

I play thrash metal and these things lasted a WEEK of daily playing . The EAD strings are all gone already where u pick. They need to be cheaper for how long they (don't) last...too bad as they look great.

I literally couldn't tune my guitar with harmonics. While the string has it's uses, I have no use for these strings. I just got some XL strings, and they are perfect. The red coating rubs off easily, and in no time you'll see the metal underneath. Perhaps the best use of these strings is for a night of gigging. To add showmanship.

I love how awesome the strings look. The red color was sick!. The only bummer is that the sound was really dead from the strings. And some special circumstances I could see these being usable and awesome, but not for the sake of playing with finesse and having sustain or anything like that. Very different feel as well. Not a bad deal, but not for me.

They sounded good, but looked pink not red.

More pinkish - red than pure deep, "eye-popping" red. I have purchased other colors in the past such as white, blue and green - these are harder to find at G.C.stores now, so ON-line to the rescue :). They visually stand out under different types of lighting. In terms of "playability" - they seem "OK", but I am an amateur/beginner. I don't think Pros use these - I could be wrong. They are worth checking-out for fun! I decided to put them on my $159. Epiphone Special Edition #1 with faded cherry body coloring - they superbly enhance the overall look of the guitar compared to factory strings. Try them! (Experiment with other colors). When I fix and donate budget guitars to charities - I upgrade to the colored strings just for fun.

I hate leaving a bad review, considering I didn't even put these on my guitar, but, they are pink. I'm very sensitive to color shades so I thought maybe it was just me but I showed them to my wife without mentioning my concern and she immediately asked "Why did you get pink strings for your guitar?". Maybe they look red under a black light, I didn't try because I don't want strings that look pink, even if it's only in normal light, on my red guitar.
