The arms that keep it up are flimsy and easily bend. Works well at first but after a couple weeks the arms bend causing it to easily fall into the drain and cover it. The slightest weight, even water falling on it, make it drop into the drain.

Horrible, the plastic that supports the aluminum part is so flimsy that after a few minutes, the product starts to sag. Its horrible!

Nice idea but flawed. Pull up to let out water, sucked back down. End up having to tilt it or remove completely which means it may not catch hair in the water.Also, once sink is full, I can hear water trickling out. Better wash fast before that happens!

Product was very easy to install and functions very well. Easy to use and clean. Does not stop up the sink completely when I want it to Water slowly seeps out of sink when stopper is down

First off someone stole my item, I came home to a ripped package and no item. Amazon replaced it without issue. I had one of those mesh drain plugs that covers the drain pipe and I hated it. This is perfect, fits great, easy to use just a light touch to push down and pull it back up. Catches everything before it goes down the pipe. Easy to open the top to clean it out. If you’re missing a drain stopper don’t like the one you have definitely get this one.UPDATE August 2023: Make sure your kid doesn’t interfere with it. My daughter took it out and may have squeezed the plastic basket and now I have to find the sweet spot to rest it back in or else it slips down to much and closes. So maybe the basket could be made a slightly sturdier material. But I still like this product.

I purchased a used travel trailer and the previous owners had broke out the little tabs that hold the stopper up. So when I wanted to use the sink I had to take a stopper completely out and I was worried that things would fall down the hole. I found this and it sold my problem and made the sink look upgraded as well as matched the new faucet I installed to the t. It acts like the stoppers you find in your home. You push it down to stop it and pull it up just a tab to set it high enough for the water to flow. I love the basket feature because that guarantees nothing will be going down the drain not even hair.

In the past my bathroom sink would constantly clog. This is because I brush, blow dry and style my hair right over my sink. Couple this with hair spray, sticky styling gel and various products that no doubt end up being washed down my sink, I’m left dealing with clogs every few months. This would entail the usual process of going under my sink to detach the stopper’s mechanism, then removing the stopper and beginning the “icky” process of unclogging by using a bendable hooked stick and pulling out all the gross hair from the drain. Once I found this handy dandy device, VOILA no more hassle of unclogging. Once your drain plug is removed just assemble the basket to the plug and insert in your sink. Very simple and no more dealing with gross, icky stuff. Just periodically remove the mechanism, empty the basket and put back in the sink. I highly recommend it especially if you’re like me and have to deal with this problem
