How to judge the oil pump failure
1.Judging by the vehicle dashboard, the icon of the engine failure will be displayed on the vehicle dashboard
2.If the vehicle needs to stay at the ignition position for a period of time before starting, then the short-term start will fail to start, indicating that the oil pump is broken.
3.If the vehicle feels weaker than before and feels frustrated when refueling.
4.If the engine oil consumption is excessive, please carefully find out the cause and check it as soon as possible to ensure the normal operation of the engine.

This oil pump does its job. Did a long block rebuilt and decided to change the oil pump. Make sure the gasket sits correctly along with silicone spread around the edges and you be good. Fits pretty snug like oem.

like that its cheap, disliked that its cheap but then again with this covid thing going on its better then nothing, also if you have issues from crank crank shaft seal leaking just get a national seal and call it a day.
