The HydroShield Drop In Gutter Guard is designed to prevent your home’s gutters from becoming clogged with leaves and other debris. With perforated openings, the gutter guard provides maximal rain water flow while restricting debris. The rain carrying system provides great water flow for self cleaning, while the debris trapped by the guard is carried away by the wind. This HydroShield gutter screen sits directly on the gutter system making it virtually unnoticeable and a natural fit. The gutter screen is easily installed by simply dropping it in the top of the gutter and then the screws are put in the front lip. An economical option, this protective gutter screen is a great alternative to hoods and other types of gutter covers. The HydroShield Drop In Gutter Guard is available in 5in. and 6in options.

It says mill finish, the outside lock in lip is white, white is not mill finish, if it says mill finish it should be mill finish, my gutters are dark gray, if my gutters where white fine, but it is not what the description says it is.

Get some 1/4” hex head stainless self tapping screws, put the unfinished edge up under your shingles or roofing material and once you secure in place with a couple of screws, you’re done. Best investment with any house that has trees close by. No more gutter cleaning. I use tiny zip ties to tie together corners where there’s not much support.

I needed to install leaf guards on two different size gutters. The house has 6 inch gutters and the shed has 5 inch gutters. For the house I ordered Hydro-Shield Drop-In Gutter Guard. For the shed I ordered E-Z gutter guard. Links are below.E-Z gutter guard is much easier to work with, no sharp edges and no screws required. It is much more expensive.Hydro-Shield had sharp edges and required screws, but was less expensive. Also, if bent too much, it breaks very easily. If either of these is damaged by hail, I think I will replace them with stainless steel leaf guards.5 inch E-Z gutter guardhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BVDEXYI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=16 inch Hydro-Shieldhttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09C2PPQQX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

These gutter guards seem like they are well made and a solid product. They install very easily, just slide up under the shingles and then back down to snap onto the front of the gutter. Was able to install on all my gutters on an 1800 sq ft house in about 2 hours. Take your time any make sure your ladder is steady. Also don't forget to wear gloves when installing. These will slice you up if you don't. The only issues I had were due to damage on the actual gutters. Overall very satisfied. Will update if there are any issues down the road.

These are great quality gutter guards for the price. Usually, big box stores charge quite a bit but for the price, these are an affordable option. Some things to keep in mind is that you will need to know how to shape the metal around corners and cutting them for lengths to fit your situation. These also have a small raised section in the middle to I assume help leaves blow away from the guard. These are a good purchase and I highly recommend these.

The gutter guards are good. The best thing was how quickly and easily I got them installed. I wish they had been about 1/2" wider because wherever my old gutter sagged a little, they didn't quite reach from front to get a good connection under the roof. Also, they don't work well with the cypress in my front yard. The cypress leaves are narrow and stick into the guard and they are completely clogged.

Looks good, and the installation was relatively simple. I have an image of the tools I've used. The trick is to get it under the shingles. I started each section of gutters from the left side so that each guard would overlap the previous one. Line the guard under the shingles and force it there starting with one side, then carefully slide in the rest so the guard does not bend. Does not matter which side of the guard you start with, just get it an inch or so from the previous one and then slide it left so the solid metal part of the guard touches the previous one and the mash overlaps the previous one. There is no difficulty related to the product itself. The only two difficulties I had was the ability to safely get to the gutters and how easy or hard it was to slide the guard in. Some shingles were easy, some were not. Took me about 5-6 hours for 170 linear feet of gutters. Very happy with the results so far.
