I'm changing my review to one star. Do not buy this product. I had to buy it because there is medicine I got to give my dog and as you're trying to push it in the middle green part of it falls right out. One time as I'm trying to push it in and hold it in her mouth at the same time and as you know dogs will be moving around they're not going to do it easily The white plastic part almost gagged her and went into her throat deep in her throat and the green part fell out as you're pushing it in that green part's going to fall out because you got to hold it in her mouth and the green part doesn't stay in it just falls right out perfect example if you pick it up it's going to fall right out

Shipping was fast. Some pills get hung up on the end. So make sure you’ve administered all the meds.

My one dog won't take her meds no matter what we hide them in. We've tried Peanut Butter, Pill Pockets, and Lunch Meat. She Ed won't take it, so I have to use a Pill Popper. They work grate but wear out fast.

better than putting fingers in mouth to push down throat or pry their jaw open. I do wish it was a pack with options for different size pills from small half to larger horse like pills.

so much easier than having to shove my arm down the dogs throat... i dont recommend it, its not fun or comfortable for eiter of us. this makes it safe and easy to give the dog her meds and she cant cheek her pills like a lunatic. well made and easy to use. so worth it.

This pill shooter has been a lifesaver for getting my dog to take their medication. My dog is way too clever to fall for the usual hiding-it-in-food trick, so this tool has been a game-changer. It’s straightforward to use, just place the pill at the end of the shooter and gently place it towards the back of your dog’s mouth. Following up with a treat after administering helps ensure they swallow the pill without issue. One thing to keep in mind is that this tool works best with regular-sized pills. For example, my dog takes a half a pill of Clomicalm at a time, and it’s too small to fit in the shooter, so it just falls out. This could be a limitation depending on the size of the medication you’re working with.Pros- Simple and easy to use- Great for dogs that refuse pills hidden in food- Works well with regular-sized pillsCons- Small or halved pills might not fit securely in the shooterOverall, this pill shooter is a fantastic tool for medium to large dogs that are stubborn about taking their medication. It's straightforward and effective, making an otherwise challenging task much easier. I highly recommend it for pet owners dealing with pill-resistant dogs!

Make sure this is what you feel will work because this is NOT returnable. Our dog took the pill the first time but afterwards she would not bother and clinched her mouth knowing what it was.We also had a small pill and this was too big for the pill.

My dog is not the easiest to give pills to - she likes to clamp shut her mouth and I literally have to pry it open and then stuff the pill down her mouth which I don't like doing but otherwise she will not take it, so I decided to give the pill popper a go - worth a short. So far it works as expected, simply put the pills in the end of the shooter, put into your dog's mouth and shoot it in with the trigger. The end is a bit small so I'm not sure how bigger pills will work - I've only had to use small allergy meds with this so far and they work fine but it might be tough with the larger ones.Quality is ok - nothing special or anything but it works and gets the job done - so far, I haven't had any issues with this but long-term use will still need to be determined, overall work a shot to see if it works for your dog.
