This is a great cymbal stand for a casual, not-on-the-road musician. It’s nice and beefy and will hold up great in any sort of rehearsal or studio environment. It’s not quite as robust as something that cost three times as much, but then again, it doesn’t cost three times as much. The locks are good as are the feet. It doesn’t shake and for beginners and mid-level players it’s way worth spending a few dollars more for this as level of quality instead getting a cheap flimsy stand that would shake just by looking at it. Plus when this is on sale, it’s a no brainer purchase.
