I have a 2006 gmc sierra extended cab 4x4. So this cross member works. That being said there are a few issues. The end plates that you weld to the outside frame needed to be trimmed. The holes thru the frame are closer to the bottom than the top. To make room to weld I had to cut roughly half to 5/8 inch off the bottom of each plate before welding. The pre attached plate is also attached too low and cannot be attached to the frame. The shock mount seems like its mounted in a twist aiming the wrong direction. In reality it works but I had to bend a tang out to be able to get it attached. It's well made and solid. Dont believe anything you read about weldable paint. Make sure you grind all paint off where welding. Paint is quite thick and impossible to weld good even with flux core. As usual any paint makes a mess of the welds using Mig.

The whole thing is pretty much what it suppose to be. The only complaint I have is the shock bracket. It's crooked and the material could be a bit stronger

I bought this for my 2007 chevy silverado it is heavy duty. I believe it will work great! Delivery sucked! I scheduled for it to be here yesterday and it showed up today a day late!
