Fits like a glove on my 2013 4Runner. Came with bolts and spacers for the front and reused the rear bolts just fine with no alignment issues like everyone else is having. Might put anti seize later and drill a hole for the oil filter like how others did. Torqued the bolts to 30ft lbs.

Fit perfect on my 2012 4Runner. Straight fitment, no issues. Very good quality. I would recommend if you don’t want to spend $$$ on the TRD brand.

The ad said free shipping. It didn’t say anything about paying shipping to return. The quality on this skid plate was good. However I didn’t like the way it fit my vehicle. However with the help from Amazon , the seller did take care of the return shipping. Thanks

Seems like decent quality for the price, install wasn't smooth like the toyota skidplate, had to re-drill the rear holes due to not lining up. Once installed I noticed 2 areas hitting the frame causing stress on the plate so I had to remove it and hit it with my angle grinder to remove some material.

Fit with no issues, welds were good. Followed provided instructions. Also took the recommendation of another review stating to attach the forward bolts, followed by the rear boats..

I had a hard time figuring out why this skid plate was so much less expensive than all the others I saw for sale on Amazon. I read through the reviews and noted that were a few negative reviews that stated the mounting holes did not align with the holes on the vehicle frame. I had no such issues. I did have the thought that the job would have been a whole lot easier if I had a vehicle lift (instead of crawling under my 4runner on my back with around 1 inch of clearance between my face and the frame of the truck). The directions are in black and white and at one point inform you to look for the "red arrows." That aside, the directions were straight forward and easy to follow (they're printed front/back on one piece of paper so make sure you look at both sides!). I found that starting the front bolts first was the trick for installation of the skid plate - DO NOT remove the holding washers that hold the bolts/spacers together - or you'll be crying for your momma, a lot. The front bolts, and spacers, are supplied with the skid plate and you'll need to save, and reuse, the 14mm bolts for the back of the skid plate that you removed from the factory supplied skid plate. Start to finish probably around 30-45 minute job. Now, one thing to be very aware of: The directions direct you to remove the plastic protective radiator cover and disgard it. DO NOT disgard it! You have to remove that plastic guard first, then the factory skid plate in order to mount this skid plate. After you remove both factory installed pieces, reinstall the plastic radiator guard BEFORE you install the skid plate. There will be a couple bolts you won't be able to install (because they screw into the factory skid plate you removed) but the front three bolts will still install - and that guard will help prevent junk from splashing up and getting on your radiator/engine. Don't disgard it!I may order a TRD decal for this skid plate to swag it up. Haven't decided as of yet.

didn't have any issue with needing additional hardware like some plates / reviews of this type of product, however you WILL need to modify at least one hole to line up with the vehicle. Mine was the passenger rear. I needed to auger out the hole about 1/2 inch towards the front of the vehicle. Curiosity does overwhelm me as it comes with the two front bolts. Both 10mm, however the drivers side correctly needed a 14mm socket. The passenger side required a 13mm socket. Can't expect the world at this price...lol

Did not want to spend another $100+ for the TRD model so I picked this up and seems to be of the same build and quality. I just ordered black "TRD" lettering decals and will install it later this week. It is difficult to line up the holes without someone to help hold the plate. It comes with the front bolts but not the rear bolts. This is where it gets tricky... Instructions say you may need to use original bolts, but mine were too short so I had to go to the hardware store, as some others did, to find a longer one. I got two M10x1.25x50mm to do the job. I just sprayed gun cleaner/lube on the bolts to have it screw in easier. I believe some people put anti-seize on the bolts, which is probably a good idea, but I didn't. I would have given 4 stars for the rear bolt hassle, which the seller should include, but they worked with me to compensate me for the bolts I had to buy and for my time, so I am fully satisfied now!
