My family and I recently took a trip to a popular family resort which has had a few occasional reports of bed bugs. I always struggle sleeping in a bed that is not my own, especially in such a frequented space. I stumbled across these wipes and am so glad I did!BUT DID THEY WORK?Well, I can honestly say we arrived back at home bed bug free. But prior to my trip I did some research; I hope what I’ve learned and share here can help you make more informed decisions while traveling. So let’s dive into the ingredients first to see if this stuff even has the potential to actually make a difference:1. Geraniol: known to repel bed bugs, mosquitos, roaches, and ticks.2. Cedarwood Oil: works as a natural pesticide. When phenols and acids in Cedarwood oil enter the respiratory tract and blood system of invasive pests they can be fatal. They also repel moths, roaches, ticks and other bugs too.3. Sodium lauryl sulphate: known as a biopesticide that disrupts the cell membrane of pests. It’s actually very common in products you likely already buy so don’t let the fancy name scare you too much. It is known to kill bed bugs, lice, mites, and aphids.**In a number of studies that I found, a name-brand natural pesticide with THESE EXACT 3 INGREDIENTS produced the best result out of dozens of others and resulted in a 100% mortality rate within 10 days. These ingredients are considered a more natural and safer approach to other harsher chemical pesticides which makes me feel better using around my family.Luckily I’ve never had to deal with bed bugs and I’d like to keep it that way so I’ll share some other helpful tips and tricks! I will also say that bed bugs are known to be especially pesky because all you need is one pregnant female and a whole new population of them will reappear. It doesn’t matter how clean you or the hotel is, bed bugs can be anywhere. It’s recommended to put your suitcases in the tub while you inspect the room. The band around the fitted sheet and stitched corners at the top of the bed is a very common place for them to be. They are about the size of an apple seed. If you can’t spot them here or anywhere hidden around the bed then you should be good to go. (This is the time I used these wipes!!) When you get home, keep your suitcases outside or in the tub while you unpack and inspect. Immediately throw all your clothes in the dryer on the highest heat setting for 30mins just to be sure. Temperatures over 122 degrees will kill them and heat is known as the best way to get rid of them.I hope you’ve found this info helpful and I highly recommend these wipes! I will absolutely always keep these on hand while traveling and suggest you do too!

We were traveling this summer and kept hearing about a disturbing bedbug outbreak just a few hundred miles away from where we were. It was serious, 50% of traveler accommodation tested were positive for the little blood suckers! I wish I would have had something like the EcoVenger individual bed bug wipes. In the past year I have used several products with the same natural oils this product has and I have found them extremely affective as insect killer or deterrent. It is winter now so, I had to dig deep to find some insects. Luckily, we have a compost bin at work that had a fairly serious fruit fly infestation. I wiped down the outside and inside of the lid with a EcoVenger wipe and have not seen a fruit fly since! When I think back at how much anxiety we had traveling last summer, these bedbug killing wipes are coming with me on every vacation from now on!

We noticed one of our beds had bed bugs after relatives came and stayed a while. We knew the nightmare had begun. We cleaned the areas where we could see there had been activity and used these wipes regularly to try to do control infestation. We also used them to go all around the bed and in creaes since that seems to be where they like to hide. These did 0 to change anything and after 2 weeks of using them, we had to throw the mattress out and get a new one. They were obviously contained to the mattress because it's now been almost a month and the new bed has not had any issues. So these didn't kill anything or deter anything.

The natural ingredients help and keep most biting bugs away but maybe our tops. They are not much use beyond that. You are kind of better off getting Cutter Dry and apply that over some kind of Picardin lotion. The wipes are like $11 overpriced.

I got this for my trip to South Korea which is currently having a bed bug problem for precautionary purposes. It comes in a nice little box with individualized package wipes that you can easily wipe down anything that you may be concerned about getting bugs from. The smell is not bad and the wipes are big enough where you can wipe down luggage and anything else you may need. 24 packs is more than enough to wipe down all of my items several times. I have not experienced any bugs yet. However this gives me a much stronger sense of confidence that I will not spread or bring anything home back with me. I think it's worth the price for a piece of mind because an bug problem is something that you do not want to deal with and you never know what's in the hotel that you may stay.
