When I opened the box, I gasped a little at the beautiful color of blue that these bowls are. They have a nice weight to them, and I love the texture of the ceramic. These are perfect for salads or pasta dishes. I don't think I would use them for soup because the sides aren't very deep, but that's not a showstopper at all for me. These are also nice for portion control.

I ordered these bowls in blue. They are a darker blue than the photo, but I checked the reviews before ordering and saw from other customer photos that the tone was in fact darker. So far, they are good, but I can’t speak to durability yet. They aren’t especially deep so good for salads or smaller portions of pasta but not ideal for example for my husband who is a big eater, to have his usual portion of pasta or stirfry for dinner. I used a standard Campbell’s soup can in the photo to give a ratio comparison to show the size. They have a little bit of weight to them, but nothing too heavy. I do think they are overpriced, hence the 4 stars. 4 bowls like this at HomeSense here in Canada would definitely be $10-$20 less so the vendor is making a healthy profit.

These are undeniably gorgeous, but expensive, for me. They are well-made and thankfully, not as heavy as I had feared. Any food served in them, looks amazing and they elevate every meal, so I tend to be more engaged with my meal, enjoy it more and feel a higher level of satisfaction. I think this makes me eat less, in addition to them being smaller so I can't really pile my plate! I love the glossy finish, the speckles that look like ground pepper and the bumpy, dimpled base that catches and plays with the light. These plates really do engage your visual and tactile senses. I love them but took off one star because I feel they could be cheaper and this was exacerbated by them going down $4 in price, two days after I paid for them.

I love these pasta bowls. I really didn't expect my husband to like them. He tends to resist change. But he used one right away without me even suggesting it. And they are his preferred dishes now. I really got them for me, but I don't mind sharing. Who knew we would both like them this much. They are a little smaller than our regular plates but that doesn't matter to me. I thought that would be why my husband wouldn't like them. He eats off of the largest plates in the cupboard. But the smaller size doesn't seem to bother him at all.

These pasta bowls are my favorite and the ones I always prefer to reach for during dinner meals. I love the color and texture, the weight and durability, and overall quality. They've held up perfectly after many dishwasher cycles. Highly recommend.

These bowls are absolutely gorgeous. I love the look and design of these and am always happy to serve/eat a meal with them. The blue is such a nice color and the gold edging is lovely. The size is large and it holds a decent amount. The edges are great and help my son be able to contain his food. I love the functionality of a plate with the edges of a bowl and this makes the best of both. Any food photos will look gorgeous in these! These are my favorite meal time accessories.

Seriously, tho...I really like these plates. I like that there is a rim around it so it can function as a plate and as a bowl. Yes, we definitely put pasta in these. They are solid feeling, a bit weighty. They fit in the dishwasher (although you'll probably want to lean them down so all the water can drain). The blue looks great, especially with the ripply bottom. They are smaller than your average dinner plate but are plenty big for a full meal.At less than five bucks each, these are a good deal.
