I still shoot on a Canon M6 mkii. I found no noticeable speed or focussing issues with this adapter and several of my EF lenses. The shoe is heavier and simply unscrews if it is not needed. Great little adapter to keep in your kit.

I just purchased a M3 camera because I needed something compact and light that would still give me the flexibility of my full frame DSLR. I have 5 EF & EF-S lenses and this adapter lets me use all of them on the new camera. The autofocus and apature settings all worked fine with the adapter. A great value to make all of your camera lenses usable with all of your camera bodies.

I already have the canon branded version of this and decided to give one of these a try.The branded version is 3 times the cost but so far there seems to be ZERO reason to pay that.At less than $40 at the time I ordered, this one has a similar weight, feel and functions nearly identical to the other. There may be the slightest lag in the autofocus function so if fast is required you may want to stick to the branded version but in my usage it was barely noticeable.I tested pairing this with a Canon 18-135 a Tamron 16-300 and a Sigma EX 12 fisheye, all performed flawlessly on my now quite old) Canon M6 and M100sOverall I do recommend this product!

At first i was skeptical but once i tried it, it worked really well. I put a different lens’s on and all the features work. Only thing that did not work was the manuel and auto focus feature on the camera because the lens had a switch for that feature which pretty much override that option on the camera. Other than that the lens adapter did not feel heavy and it does not feel like it is made from cheap material. So great quality, great performance. Worth the money if you want to try different lenses that do not work with the original adapter on the camera

Don’t know too much about cameras. I won a lens at an auction and it didn’t fit unless I got this attachment. Was worried it wouldn’t fit my camera, but alas it did! For reference I have the EOS M200

I am strictly a canon product person. This no-name brand is a great little mount. It fit my zoom lens. I had no problem with the fitting of the mount. I have a 75-300 mm. The autofocus works well with the mount.

I stumbled onto this adapter while browsing through camera gear on Amazon. I hadn't looked into expanding my lens options after switching to the EF-M 22mm lens, which I was happy with. However, after watching some YouTube videos I quickly saw the advantage of this setup which opens up the world of other Canon EF lenses.I picked up a used EF 50 mm and mounted it to my camera using the adapter, which dropped right into place. this adapter doesn't include any zoom functionality, so there's a slight crop difference; but there are other disadvantages to adding more lenses in the system, so this is a straightforward approach and keeps the cost down.Overall, I'm really pleased with the performance of this adapter and feel like it's breathed new life into my photography hobby. I noted some added chromatic aberration that can result from this setup, but I'm able to compensate for this using post-processing software. The build quality and finish of the adapter is very good - it doesn't feel or look like a cheap attachment. If you're looking for an economical way to cross over to the world of Canon EF lenses, this is a great way to bridge the gap. Highly recommended.

I recently found a Canon M200 on sale at a big box store so I grabbed it however most of my shooting is done with my Canon SL3 so I needed an adapter - at this price point I figured this one would be worth a shot. Overall, I like this adapter and it seems to do a pretty good job with all of the lenses I have tried so far. It does seem to have just a slight - oh so slight - bit of play at the base if you try and turn it. This play doesn't impact anything nor is it a risk of any sort for either the camera or lenses, but I do want to point it out. The adapter is "smart" so it will allow for the information to pass through it back and forth between the camera and my lenses. I took it off for testing however there is a screw on adapter on the bottom which allows you to attach it to a tripod. This adapter better aligns the weight distribution, taking stress off of the camera body if you are using a larger lens. There isn't much more that needs to be said on this adapter other than I feel comfortable with recommending it to anyone looking at it right now. Rest assured that if I start using it more heavily and issues come up or it fails, I will be sure to come back and update my review so if I haven't done so than its still working for me. At this price point it's a quick and inexpensive way to greatly expand your lens collection if you own a Canon M.
