Caserole Crucible, 200ml, Casserole is spelled incorrectly in the description online. This one works fine. So far we have used it in our home basement laboratory where the grandkids and I do science experiments. I am a retired scientist and love teaching science to my grandkids. This one works as described. It seems to be sturdy although it is ceramic and will break if not handled with care. It seemed pretty heat resistant as we used it several times during our last experiment. Back in the day long before we had microwaves in the workplace, we would use these to heat soup and other foods. Of course, they had been washed and sterilized. I would order this one again.

This is a nice little addition to my kitchen. It's perfect for melting things like butter or chocolate, and the lip and handle make it easier to use than a small ramekin.I can melt the butter and put it all i without getting it on my fingers and burning my hand trying to grab it.It's not glazed around the lip, so it might hold oils there, I've only used it once for butter, and it seemed fine. We'll see next time I need to do chocolate.
