This is *not* a first surface mirror. It's coated on the back, like a regular mirror like you have in your bathroom, so it is not optical quality. I lucked out. The mirror I got is fully coated without any large defects, unlike the mirrors some other reviewers got.So, this works for basic science experiments, but it is low end. It comes with a paper storage envelope, not a box.

The mirror has I perfections, either scratches or sunken imperfections in the glass! Shame that!
