Product Description

Multiple Functions

ES Water Heater
  • The unit connects directly to a cold water source, which fills the tank and is heated with an electric heating element to the desired temperature until it's ready to be used. The water is released when a faucet or fixture is opened.

  • Designed for single applications and small load requirements, these water heaters are commonly located under sinks, in small apartments, and in additions like side rooms and garages.

  • Mini-tank water heaters preheat a small amount of reserved water until it's ready to be used. Tankless water heaters heat water on demand as it travels through electrical heating elements within the unit.

  • The cold water in the line will flow into the tank first and mix with the hot water there. The mini tank water heater will turn on heating until the hot water from your main water heater eventually reaches the mini tank

  • A mini-tank water heater is not intended to service a shower because it requires a larger flow from 1.5gpm to 2.5gpm, while these mini tank capacity range from 1.3 gallons, 2.5 gallons and 4 gallons, to max 6.5 gallons.

We have a whole house gas on-demand hot water heater, but it is on the other end of the house and it takes too long make it to the sink.I installed it on the hot water line. It provides instant hot water until my whole house system gets there.

We use this for a sink and the washing machine. Our washer has sensors that stop the machine if there is no hot water, and my wife complained she could not clean the washer without hot water, so I bought this. It works fine. Did not notice a spike int the electric bill and best of all the wife has warm water to do the laundry.

Water heater is nice and works perfectly. Installation varies based on existing plumbing but they should really tell you in description that you will need to go buy hoses & adaptors. Nothing is included and there are no direction regarding installation.

Replaced leaking round WH under cabinet, this one doubled Usable Space, and provides same amount of hot water. Client Happy!

Initially purchased this unit to go under the kitchen sink, which is a really long run from the water heater. The install was very easy. We found, however, that we only got about 50-60 seconds of hot water before the old began mixing in, so I upgraded to a 4 gallon unit. I then moved this smaller one to the bathroom sink, and it is perfect there for our needs.

Good little unit, instructions are laid out well for the diy person. I wouldn’t call it instant hot water but it does make the water hot for sure. I have in my camper that replaced the old propane style heater. So far it has worked well for us

I purchased this water heater to put in our 28’ travel trailer. I went with the 4.5 gallon as it was the largest unit I could fit under the kitchen cabinet. If there is one thing I dislike about this unit it’s the fact that there is no low point drain. With that being said this unit far exceeds my expectations. I was skeptical that it would be able to keep up to shower and I was surprised that me and my girlfriend could both take a reasonable shower back to back no problem at all. And the water gets HOT! So for anyone considering it for a trailer I would definitely recommend this water heater. Love it

Now updated - purchased this 1 year ago.It installed correctly but there was no manual. There are YouTube instructions. Runs perfectly.Timed it for hot water and it ran 7.5 minutes. I took a ten-minute shower and my hubby a 15 minute shower at first. We figured out to keep it hot for up to a half-hour shower which is too obvious. Just turn off the shower while soaping up again.I say, works better than described. My husband says it was easy to install, even at 70 y.o. It's easier for the average person with the right equipment. For anyone older, you might want to hire someone younger with a few skills to hook it up.We found it takes a bit less time to get the water heated by putting it on the halfway point, wait for the red button, then turn it to max, and you'll have plenty. This is also perfect for under the sink as well. Leaving it on to run dishes runs out of hot water faster. We already turn off the faucet while washing dishes to save electricity so this is an easy choice for us.Definitely would purchase again.

I am in a house I just recently bought. The gas company is super unfriendly, their "inspector," is not a nice person and after clearing the house with the gas on a few months ago now says all the gas lines must be replaced? They're not even old. So, yeah, bye bullying GAS Company! I yanked out the gas stove and put it on Craigslist the next day, lovely electric cooktop now installed. We have options, today. Anyway, I researched and researched, and found this portable electric HWH that consumes low amps and is 110v! I have to admit, the box arrived and I was intimidated. I got online and started looking for "all the stuff," I'd need to install it, lines, fittings, even tools. Imagine my delight when I discovered I needed nothing other than what was already there in the house and some teflon tape I already had. Even installing the pressure relief valve (they provided it, thanks so much) was a breeze. Start to stop, it was making water hot less than 30 minutes after I opened the box. I'm using this right now in a shower. I have to spray, suds, rinse, but it SO beats ice cold showers. My plan will be to use this unit eventually in my outdoor bathhouse, but today, it's saving my life by providing me with a hot shower. So, so happy I bought this.

Works great. I've got it running a faucet on its own. It's never run out of hot water. Don't notice any major increase in power bill. Only stupid thing is it doesn't have a drain on the bottom for winterizing or even emptying it.

Took about 1 hour to install, this included removing the original elec/propane hot water tank from the RV. This unit is replacing a 10 gallon heater for a 38 foot 5th wheel. About an 18 foot run to the shower. I am about conserving water so only use it to get wet then rinse off. I use about 3 gallons per shower. Never runs out of hot water. Instant hot to the sink which is 2 feet run. Very happy with this investment.

A few weeks after I received my mini water heater and installed it, the relief valve flooded my sink cabinet. There was no reason for this that I could see. The information was to get another relief valve which meant disconnecting all the lines, draining the tank and then sending in the relief valve. Which means that within a month of purchase I would not have hot water for an unknown length of time while someone figures out what is wrong with the relief valve. Our family needed the hot water so we put towels around the relief valve for the few months following purchase and it finally quit working. I would not recommend this product since the reason to use it is to produce hot water and it makes no sense that the function of it, on a basic level would damage it.

I bought this to install under the kitchen sink at my farm. We have to ration water so waiting for hot water to get to the kitchen sink from the house water heater is a waste of water. This unit is almost instant hot water for when you just want to wash your hands or rinse a dish. It was easy to install, didn't take up too much room but you do need a dedicated circuit as it does draw 12 amps. I knew I was going to be using one of these units so I wired a separate outlet under the sink when it was under construction. I plumbed this into the hot water line and there is a warning on the unit that says if you do this that the temperature of the water from the house water heater should not be hotter that what you have set on the mini unit. Will see what the lifespan is of this unit, hopefully many years.
