I picked this up as a stopgap to use four thirds lenses with a newer camera until I can get a new series of lenses. It's very finicky and if it's misaligned either the autofocus won't work or the camera may crash entirely.

It's so wonderful to enjoy seamless autofocus with a vintage lens.Autofocus speeds are fine, given they are four thirds lenses, not m4/3 ones.The construction quality is refined. The lens and camera mounts are finely machined aluminum, and the barrel is plastic. It mounts and dismounts smoothly, which is good because a softer touch will help the aluminum endure. After reading other reviews, I was a bit skeptical about this adapter's fitting quality, security and ease. Thankfully, it's been perfect.The metal is definitely aluminum, and not brass as some marketing claims have said.The electronic contacts connect securely and easily to my camera's. Lens-camera communication shows no problems so far.I like the 1/4" screw socket for tripod use, but it's also made from aluminum so I'd be gentle when attaching to a tripod.The adapter weighs only 39g, or 1.38 oz. It doesn't weigh down the handling lighter M4/3 camera bodies, and is great for ultra light travel and hiking.Quality light-weight autofocus for the same or slightly higher price compared to non-electronic, fully manual-focus adapters. This adapter is ideal. I highly recommend it.

Mon exemplaire montre très peu de jeu, la conception est satisfaisante.A l'utilisation, je ne m'attendais pas à trouver une telle qualité à mes optiques Zuiko 4/3 sur un boîtier E-M10. Je remets en service mon 9-18 mm Zuiko pour Four Thirds et c'est une sacrée économie !L'autofocus fonctionne mais est assez désagréable avec mes optiques non SWD, au point que je préfère la mise au point manuelle; peut-être que c'est mieux sur un boîtier à détection de phase.

AF works flawlessly. Build quality seems just fine, and though not robust, also not cheap. Having switched from 4:3 to MFT its nice to not have to replace all of my lenses, and so far, this adaptor works as described. I have yet to try it with non Olympus Lenses or a Non Olympus Body. The AF Speed is a little slower, but not enough to impact shooting, and is likely due more to older 4:3 lenses not the adaptor. It locks in and fits great, with no issues connecting 4:3 lenses to the MFT body, and I've seen no issue with image quality that also aren't due to the older Olympus lenses. I'd buy this again for each 4:3 lens I intend to use on the MFT body, so I'm not fumbling around as much when switching between 4:3 and MFT Lenses.

Overall decent works like a charm but has a a delayed shutter. On my LUMIX g7, lens is Olympus Zukio 40-150mm 👍🏾👍🏾

Ich habe den Adapter für meine Olympus OM-D E-M1 gekauft um daran alte Four Thirds Objektive zu betreiben.Der Adapter funktioniert nach einem ersten Test ohne Probleme, er sitzt spielfrei an der Kamera und alle Objektive passen und funktionieren einwandfrei.Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen!Nachtrag:Ich bin immer noch sehr zufrieden mit diesem Adapter.Ich nutze folgende Four Thirds Objektive:Leica D Vario-Elmarit 14-50mm f:2.8-3.5Olympus Zuiko Digital 14-54mm f:2.8-3.5Olympus Zuiko Digital 40-150mm f:3.5-4.5Die Kamera erkennt die Objektive korrekt und es gibt keinerlei Fehler.Die Objektive lassen sich sehr leichtgängig und spielfrei montieren, Objektive und Adapter rasten zuverlässig ein.

All things considered this adapter works just fine. Yeah the AF is a bit slower than we're used to with M43 lenses, but they are as fast as they would be on the full 4/3 e-VOLT camera's... it works, and works well for what it is: an adapter to put older lenses on new cameras, period.I do a lot of star trails and simple photography, I doubt very much that a pro would want or need one of these except for the indulging in experimenting with different perspectives. With star trails, I noticed the older larger 4/3 lenses tend to be more pronounced then the m4/3 lenses at the same aperture and shutter speed. (comparing 14-42mm lenses for both platforms) For $30 bucks, it's worth it to play around with... at least for this hobbyist...

Now I also have the pictures, both of the adapter, and of some results in usage.Using this adapter, I connected two Olympus lenses to my Pansonic M43 camera.But focusing was very slow, in both cases!I will try with other types of 4/3 lenses ...
