For what it can do, and for what you get, it's over-priced. I like it for what it can do, although it feels like it could have been programmed to do a little more/offer more usage options. For this price, it should have been more flexible in the programming.

This is a great unit for cornhole. Need a table as the tripod is heavy duty but only about 10 inches tall. Love it. No more dropping magnets.

My family plays a lot of pickle ball, so I was excited about this. The idea was simple: magnetically attach this to the chain link fence and use the remote to update the score or pause the timer or see a clock during a game.I love that I can use this for a variety of things – timing, scoring, clock, etc. Boy, wouldn’t it be cool if you could do all three at once on this thing, though? It performs just one function at a time, but that’s all I expected. The scoreboard itself does not feel made of premium material. Just plastic. The buttons on top are labeled with stickers that looked like they were beginning to peel off as soon as I opened the box. I’m worried about not knowing what the buttons do anymore after a few years of wear and tear or just one good storm. By the way, it’d be super nice if this thing were rain-resistant. I don’t think it is.The beeps work and have an adequate volume, but they aren’t pleasant to listen to by any means. It would have been smart if a tripod thread was built into the bottom of this scoreboard rather than have to use a separate mount. The tripod itself feels far more premium than the timer. The tripod is made of metal and has nice rubber feet to stay steady. It extends only as high as you see in the promotional photos, so don’t expect much height from this.Sadly, it doesn’t seem like this scoreboard can charge via a USB-C-to-USB-C cable (only USB-A-to-C). That’s sad for anyone who wants to carry only one cable as we move into a USB-C-centric future. When I plug in a C-to-C cable the charging logo doesn’t show and the device beeps rapidly like it’s a bomb. This comes with two drawstring pouches – one for the tripod and one for the scoreboard – which is a nice touch, but they’re both basic material. No soft felt here. It’s also nice that this comes with a power adapter in the box.The remote is nice, though simplistic in layout. It is a nice touch to have a sliding cover to protect the buttons when you don’t want to accidentally press them in your pocket. While the remote comes with a keychain and is magnetized so you can keep it attached to the scoreboard, I have a similar timer that the remote slides out of. The remote is actually stored inside the timer. That would make it much less likely to be lost and I wish this timer had that feature. The magnet on the scoreboard itself is too weak for my liking. It barely stayed on a metal pole I attached it to; the scoreboard wanted to slide down under its own weight. My other timer’s magnet works just fine on the same pole. The multiple uses for buttons on this can be a bit confusing unless you use this every day and learn it by heart. I don’t like that you can’t flip through all the modes rapidly. Once you get to score mode, you have to hold the "mode" button for three seconds to continue to the next mode. I understand why that is, but it’s annoying. All in all, this is a handy device that performs as intended, but the main component feels too cheap and too poorly-designed for the price.UPDATE: You can barely see the screen outside on a sunny day. Ugh.

My daughter uses this in the summer to keep track of the shots she gets up for basketball. It's great. It works wonderfully. She loves it.

Manual describes a plethora of functional controls using combinations and sequences of only six buttons. If you want it for only one function, perhaps you might find it satisfactory to recall the required sequence to activate that function, since I want it for only one function, I'm considering keeping it. Even so, for all its complexities, there should be several more buttons. In addition, there are no data on charging, or even a mention of charging in the manual.

The main reason for choosing the LUCKY TIME Portable LED Score Flipper Set was to use it during my gym workouts. My trainer gives me specific routines with a set time to complete each one, and instead of constantly checking my phone, I thought this would be a better option. For this purpose, this digital timer is perfect. The battery lasts a long time – sometimes, I can go an entire week of use before it needs to be recharged. The numbers are bright enough to be seen from a distance, and the stand it comes with allows it to be used almost anywhere.I’m attaching photos so you can see the actual size. It’s not very large, so I wouldn’t recommend it for keeping score in a large sports field or court, like soccer, basketball, or tennis, as the players wouldn’t be able to see it clearly if that’s the intended purpose. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the timer only lets you measure up to one hour. The display shows microseconds, seconds, and minutes, but it would have been ideal for workouts if it tracked hours as well. Keep this in mind when deciding whether to purchase it. However, if that isn’t a concern for you, this timer is an absolute success.

There's not a lot to this thing - so you don't need to be "that guy" who runs your high school scoreboard to operate this one. LOL. Numbers are big and really clear and bright. Everything is increment/decremented with simple up/down plus/minus buttons, and that's EASY. I love that about it.You only get 2 things to set, really: this game's score, and how many games won. It's clearly set up for cornhole (who knew cornhole had such rules? I had to look them up!) but I can see it working for any game that can be scored within the same maximum number of digits for game score and number of games. That's a lot of uses. The simplicity wins me over, and the brightness of the surprisingly large display. Also nicely packaged so it's gift quality for the cornholer in your life. It's a good scorer and couldn't be simpler - it even feels robust. Yep, I like and recommend this digital scorer.
