What a great little machine this is. Silent, solid, amazingly comfortable, well-designed, easy-to-assemble, with great support from the vendor, 3G Cardio. Read on if you want more details.I ordered it with overnight delivery into the room of my choice through Amazon. When it came off the truck, we discovered it was a treadmill. Oh well, everyone is entitled to a mistake. The driver took it right back onto the truck and Amazon credited my account. Didn't even have to fill out a return request. Ordered it again the same day, and the next day I received the correct item. The bike is relatively heavy, so I expected the typical damage to the box. Not so. It comes in a strong cardboard crate with hardly a scratch on the box, despite traveling from Korea. Yes, made in Korea, not China. I cut the box away from its contents and found all the bike parts safely ensconced in custom-fitted blow-molded Styrofoam (that helps explains why no parts were sticking out through the box). To make it even more secure, they wrapped each part with packing tape that was then attached to the Styrofoam. The packaging alone is worth a premium price. I didn't mind that it took a while to get everything out of the box and ready for assembly.Assembly is so easy; they even include the necessary tools. The hardest part was getting the back foot attached to the body of the bike. It wanted to tip over, so I just set the body on a block of wood and the foot attached easy enough. After that, it was a breeze. The instructions are very thorough and written in English by someone whose native language is English, using a grammar- and spell-checker. There is a detailed diagram for each step in the assembly process. A really nice touch is that all the fasteners (bolts, nuts, washers, etc.) are attached to cardboard sheets in blister packs, with assembly diagrams next to each blister. No sorting through a big Ziplock bag full of a bunch of hardware, trying to decide if that bolt is a M6x1. Only the fasteners needed for that assembly step are in that blister. Wow, wish everybody did this. Yes, there are a lot of parts, but I actually enjoyed the hour or so putting it together. Everything fit. Nothing was missing. Anyone can do this. But then, you don't buy a bike just because it's easy to assemble. The bike was well-designed by a small business in Arizona. They clearly took the time to get it right. It's on the heavy side but has wheels in front to allow it to be carted around the room. The weight and the wide footprint mean it doesn't flex or move when you pedal with enthusiasm. It is a compact bike and easily fit in our home gym that is packed full of exercise equipment (that we use daily). Its relatively small form factor takes nothing away from its function, strength, or comfort. The seat is 3-way adjustable (4-way if you count a 4-inch block insert that allows you to move the seat back forward - that became a standard item based on an Amazon reviewer's comment). A mesh seatback keeps you cool. The seat padding is thick, with just the right amount of give, and nicely molded. Anyone can find a comfortable position. The display panel is simple, high-contrast black-on-white, but includes everything you need to monitor all aspects of your workout. You can control the bike from buttons and a dial on the display panel, and/or using control buttons attached to the arms along the side of the seat. There are heartrate sensors on both arms, PLUS a wireless chest monitor strap. The heartrate detection has been true to my Garmin watch. The display is mounted below eye level, which I prefer. Rather than a screen right in my face, I can look over it to see my wall-mounted TV. The bike can communicate wirelessly with your phone, computer, or iPad using a number of available apps if you really, really have to pretend you are cycling in the Alps or attending a spin class in New York. I'm old-school, and that sort of thing grows tiresome for me in a week or two. I'm more interested in getting a good workout. Watching the news is all the distraction I need. So, I have not tried the wireless functions yet and that's not part of my review.I have had the bike about a month. I use it every day that I don't have physical therapy. I bought the bike to help recover from meniscus repair surgery. I might stop running and use this bike as my primary cardio exercise after completing PT, it's that good. It's actually fun to ride. After a few days, the bike developed a small squeak that I had trouble isolating. Eventually found it was from two panels of plastic rubbing against each other at a seam near the back end. Tightened a couple screws and it returned to blissful silence. After a few more days, a small clunking sound started coming from somewhere around the flywheel. Being an engineer, I'm obsessive about machinery working flawlessly. This is when their 5-star customer service really came through. I first contacted 3G Cardio when the treadmill was delivered instead of the bike. The mistake was by Amazon, but I thought 3G Cardio ought to know. Bryan Dorksen replied immediately to my email, wanting to make sure I got the right product. He also made recommendations when I heard the little squeak in the plastic. When I told him about the clunking sound, he said the bearings could be damaged during shipping if accidentally shipped on its side. He offered to send a complete new flywheel assembly overnight and send a local technician to install it at my earliest convenience. No hesitation, no questions asked. I told him to hold off on a new flywheel until I was sure it was broken in. The next day, the clunking stopped and hasn't returned. I think it was just a part settling in after being jostled around during shipping. But Bryan told me not to hesitate if I want a new flywheel. There are a lot of bikes available in this popular business segment, from cheap Chinese things worthy of nothing more than hanging your clothes on, to brand names like NordicTrack, Matrix, Sole, Precor, Schwinn, etc. I'm sure you're comparing them all. The guys at 3G Cardio know they have to offer a superior product, with excellent customer support, at a good price point in order to stand out from that crowd. Like me, you probably never heard of 3G Cardio (their name doesn't jump to the top of a Google search) so you might not consider taking the risk. I can assure you that this bike is every bit as good as the commercial bikes I use at PT, at a third of the price and half the footprint. Don't take my word for it; in my opinion, the other good reviews on Amazon are well-deserved.If you're serious about getting a good low-impact cardio workout every day, and appreciate top-shelf engineering, manufacturing, and materials, I do hope you consider this 3G Cardio bike. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Bryan directly at 3G Cardio. I know he would be thrilled to talk about his products.

The quality is remarkable. While it took about 4 hours from unpacking to be fully assembled, the instructions are easy to follow and come with all the tools needed. No missing parts and no problems with any machining. This is very quiet. The adjustments that can be made not only on the foot pedals but also the seat provides excellent positioning for your comfort. The display screen is easily readable. The manual is professionally written and detailed on the operation of all the modes that can be achieved. Amazon delivery men were incredibly careful and accommodating.

The bike comes packed very well in a great protective, thick stock box. It was very easy to unpack by opening the bottom of the box and sliding it upward over the bike and packing materials. The assembly instructions are well written and made for a fairly quick build of the bike, about 1 hour in total. The bike is a dream! It is silent and is solid as a rock. I’m 6’2”, 270 lbs., and it handles my size with ease. The seat and back rest are so comfortable that someone would have to experience it to believe it! I like the screen as it is bright and easy to read. The pedals allow me to actually use the pedal straps, as my size 14 shoes have never fit in any pedal straps previously on any bikes! I’m surprised that this bike doesn’t cost more, as its quality is amazing. Bravo to 3G Cardio on building the perfect recumbent bike!

I am a retired 74-year-old cardiovascular safety pharmacologist and have exercised daily for 35 years. My daily exercise typically incorporated a treadmill, road bike, and weight training. Still, with advancing years and a lower back injury, I had to change my bike routine to a recumbent model. After researching and reading countless reviews, I settled on the 3G Cardio Elite RB. I purchased the bike in October 2023 and put it into service on October 16, 2023. I perform 60-90 min of continuous cardio 5 days per week. As of this writing (January 5, 2024), I have logged 67 hours over 43 sessions on the bike. This amount of usage positions me to write a reasonably authoritative review. I am delighted to report that the 3G Elite bike has performed absolutely flawlessly. Not a single glitch or hint of any problem anywhere. As noted in the other reviews, the bike is exceptionally stable, quiet, and comfortable – rock solid in every respect. Similar to one other reviewer, I am also tall (6'4") and heavy (~125 kg) and am entirely comfortable on the bike, with much adjustment still remaining to accommodate a larger frame than mine. The bike arrives very well-packed, and I strongly encourage any buyer to carefully follow the excellent video instructions for unpacking and assembly available on the distributors' website. The distributor website also has additional videos to guide hardware adjustment of the startup resistance. As others have noted and as documented in the 3G manual, the bike controls allow custom-tailored exercise sessions by varying preset calories, time, watts, heart rate, and distance goals as desired. As these controls are clearly described in the 3G manual and other reviews, I will not repeat them here but use this space to discuss features not presented elsewhere. In an otherwise well-written manual, 3G only briefly and casually mentions the Bluetooth compatibility of the Elite RB. To me, this is a serious omission. In fact, I found the Elite RB to be fully compatible with every Bluetooth device (heart rate monitor) and program I had to use. Most importantly (to me), the Elite RB fully and seamlessly implements every aspect of Zwift®. This online cycling training platform enables users to design custom programs and ride, train, and compete in a virtual world. The features of Zwift® bring the cycling experience to an entirely different level, adding virtually unlimited variation to daily cycling routines. Zwift® is best known for replicating the elevation grades and difficulties of real-world cycling courses. It can also implement an ergometer (ERG) mode, which implements a user-defined series of intervals of varying resistance, regardless of the terrain. Zwift® is primarily designed for road bikes, allowing riders to change gears while navigating hilly terrain. By design, a recumbent bike only has 1 gear, so realistically, navigating a hilly course is not feasible. However, in ERG (ergometer) mode, where the resistance varies over user-designed time intervals, Zwift® creates an ideal environment for the recumbent bike. An ERG program also allows us to look very carefully at the actual performance of the Elite RB.Picture 1 depicts a typical Zwift® ERG program that I created (upper panel), which includes a ramped warmup, 60 minutes of varying resistance, and a ramped cooldown. The lower panel in Picture 1 presents the actual results recorded during one of my daily exercise sessions under the control of the Zwift® ERG program.Without going into too much detail, my results clearly show that the Elite RB precisely followed the ERG program instructions. Most impressive (to me) were the instantaneous transitions in preprogrammed resistance levels, which demonstrated the seamless and precise control of the Elite RB by the Zwift® program. The control evident during the ramped warmup and cooldown further highlights the accurate responses of the Elite RB, where the resistance level changed every few seconds. These results also show that the resistance of the Elite RB remained absolutely constant during each fixed interval, demonstrating very stable performance for the Elite RB over time. Impressive! While the design of the Elite recumbent bike is well thought out, I found that there was inadequate storage for multiple bottles (required for long rides) and an eye-level platform for an iPad or similar display for a control program. This issue is readily addressed by adding a RAD Cycle Products Adjustable Bike Trainer Fitness Desk available through Amazon. This desk is also well-built and very stable. It has adequate height adjustment to readily be positioned over the 3G Elite control panel. The combined equipment arrangement is shown in Picture 2.Incorporating Zwift® or some other companion control program (Rouvy®, etc.) will significantly enhance your experience with the Elite RB or any stationary bike. However, while the 3G Elite fully implements the Zwift® controls, it is not 3G's responsibility to provide operational support for the use of Zwift® or any 3rd party program. The user will always be responsible for gaining expertise in add-on programs. However, extensive online communities support these very popular companion products. After several months of intense use, the Elite RB has proven to be a durable, professional-grade piece of equipment. Typically, we get what we pay for, but in the case of the Elite RB, I feel that the actual value far exceeds the price. The Elite RB is a genuine bargain when you factor in very responsive customer support and exceptional build quality.Regardless of the price, I don't think you will find better (or comparable) performance in a recumbent bike.
