The ball for the tablet holder was broken. Ordered a replacement and then received notification that the order will be delayed. Just give me my refund back. The tripod is sturdy, the phone holder looked to be sturdy but I never put it on, I was just to frustrated by the tablet ball piece that was broken.

I do videos for social media and our website. I needed a more professional feel to the videos so I found an in iPad app called teleprompter so I could have the iPad for a written script. Using the iPhone 16 for recording I wanted a combo tripod to hold both and this one looked good. Once I got it an installed it is was great. It comes in an earring case, it is very sturdy, and most important it is easy to assemble. The instructions were Ok but it was easy to figure out how to put it together. Also the price is a deal for what this can deliver.

This stand is compact enough to fit inside my gear bag effectively reducing my work load. It’s sturdy and I can adjust it to the perfect height for me.

The material looks like sturdy aluminum, compared to all of the similar ones my coworkers have in the shop, i'd say mine is one of the least flimsy stands! One thing i don't like so much is the fact that the resistance is pretty high on the adjustable part to hold the ipad, i feel like that's not very good for the tablet, but other than that it's great! The phone stand is also awesome, it's ajustable so you dont have to struggle putting your phone in it all the time, i only wish the ipad holder part was also adjustable. Could've been a nice addition.

If something goes wrong with your item, contact the seller first. Even if it’s after the return date. They reached out to me and replaced with no cost to me. A+ customer service!I bought it November and handy had a chance to use it until now. The adjustment knob broke off the very first time we tried to turn it. No actual force was used so the thing is just too delicate. I can’t return it now because the window has expired.

This is the best iPad stand I have bought so far.Very good quality; good weight, very solid & sturdy. It does not feel like the slightest breeze will blow it over.Very easy to assemble, and the clamps for the telescoping height adjustment work great. The tablet holder holds my iPad very securely, and is flexible enough to handle all sizes of tablets.Likewise for the phone holder; my only issue with it is not being able to tilt it up a bit more, but this is not a very critical problem. The two holders are easy to install and remove, and the whole stand collapses to a very compact size for transport; a nice little carrying bag is included.Very happy with this purchase.

The iPad mount sits in a ball joint which is tightened with a plastic knob which sits over and tightens a metal nut. After a handful of uses, I tightened - not overtightened - the knob and it broke off the nut. Thankfully, when the knob broke off the nut it was *after* tightening the ball joint, so the iPad was held in place. If I can replace the nut with a wingnut, this will solve the problem. But it would never have happened in the first place if the knob had been beefy enough to survive normal use.The stand itself is a usable compromise between sturdiness and portability/light weight. The spring holding the iPad's corners is strong enough to hold very securely, but it may be a bit too strong for weak users. It's good enough that when the knob broke I felt very disappointed. If the tightening knob was adequate, I would give the stand four stars for economy and usability.

The plastic wing nut securing the gimbal mount broke after 3 weeks (5 uses). The clamping collars on the extension tubes are a "pain" to use and the carry bag is too short once the stand is assembled. Over priced.

I bought this to mount a tablet infront of my treadmill to avoid bending my neck downward so much.Overall it’s pretty great and holds an iPad without any problems. It folds away very easily and the extra phone attachment is a nice value-adder.That said, at full extension it is kind of bendy and I’d be worried if you were constantly putting a tablet in and taking it out, eventually some of the connection joints might wear and it could stop functioning as well.If you’re a power user intending to take this on lots of gigs and constantly be adjusting it, I think you might want to spend more and get a professional grade stand. But if you’re just looking for something for a particular home application like me, this is great.

Short version: An exceptionally good and versatile stand, surprisingly well-built for the price. Absolutely worth the money if you are anything other than the most battle-hardened professional gig musician!Long version: I am a professional musician who has been using two devices — a tablet for music reading and a phone for virtual lessons/rehearsals — and I’ve had to make do with a fairly MacGyver-esque setup for my rehearsals and lessons. This tripod stand massively simplifies my setup.Build quality: surprisingly good for the price. The tubes are all aluminium for rigidity and lightness, with thick rubber feet for grip and to not mar your floor. The clamps to arrest the main shaft in place are housed in plastic knobs but the threads on the screw and in the main part are metal, so no need to worry about stripping the threads due to over-tightening (I have done this before with other, lesser stands). The tablet holder is a ball socket fitting into a plastic housing, but the clamps/screws are again metal, so tighten away! At full extended height, there is a slight wobble to the stand, but it isn’t distracting or dangerous (I use a 12.9 inch iPad, so it becomes top-heavy). The grips for the devices themselves are robust and grippy.Usability: the thing I perhaps like the best about this stand is it has a HUGE height range. It telescopes in three places. At its shortest, it is useful for a desktop setting (I have sitting on my standing-desk, and its lowest setting would be just below chest height when mounted so), and extends so the device is just above my eye level when its on the floor (I am 5’9). To me, this is more than high enough, as I am a violinist and it is important for students/colleagues to see the top half of my instrument when I play. One nice feature that I don’t recall them advertising is that the clamps for the different devices can be swapped (pictures show tablet up top, phone underneath). They can actually be switched around. However, the phone mount is a less sturdy mount, so I wouldn’t try and mount a heavy tablet in the phone mount, though nothing technically stops you from doing so.My only complaint would be that it is relatively sturdy, far more so than its price point would suggest, but if you are a gigging musician who is used to throwing his kit into a chest and tossing that into your truck every night, this likely won’t hold up to that abuse. Such a musician would generally use very specialized, hardened equipment anyway, worth hundreds of dollars. However, as someone who travels to (orchestral) gigs frequently, this is more than tough enough for my needs. Finally, the carry bag they include is purely as a courtesy. It is crap. I have seen garbage bags made of tougher material. In sum, if you are an amateur or professional musician, or simply someone who needs to do video calls and have their device nearby, you seriously can’t go wrong. I am super happy I found this!
