I really like this, it had everything i needed to begin quilling and then some. The materials are good quality, as is the paper - the perfect kit to start your quilling journey!

I am a complete beginner at Quilling. I remember doing some quilling as a child with my mother, but we didn't have any tools so we just used toothpicks to coil strips of paper. I needed this kit to have instructions because I really didn't know what I was doing. It wasn't until I scavenged the internet that I discovered the tool with a slit in the top to coil the paper. The kit itself is a good starter set for someone that doesn't have any tools or paper. Lots of shades of paper that coordinate well together.

I'm not a beginner quiller so I've used my share of supplies. These are pretty cheap- like bottom of the barrel cheap. Several of the heads had fallen off the strait pens, The handle had fallen off the scissors, and some of the plastic stuff is so thin you can see through it. The shaper board has foam backing (I've always seen and used cork) so it is very flexible and is already coming off the plastic shapes. The paper is bright and colorful but not the correct thickness. Will I use it? Yes. But if you are just starting your quilling journey there are much better options out there that won't set you up for failure.

I do love this kit. It comes with a whole lot of beautifully colored quilling paper, tools, a comb, and a bunch of other stuff I have no idea how to use. The ad does say it is an easy to learn craft via the internet, so that's what I'll have to do. They do have a video in the ad showing someone using the comb in a very fast demo, but I'm one that needs exact instructions. Perhaps I'm being naive about this craft, but I would have loved to have an instruction booklet enclosed. I've seen beautiful pictures created with quilling paper and will have to look into how to start doing this craft.

I docked a star basically because this kit states it's for a beginner and yet there are literally no instructions. You have to go search out the info on how to do this elsewhere. I'm not a beginner quiller so this isn't a problem for me, but it may be for some people expecting a complete beginner package. As it is, as a supply kit, it's great. It comes with a rainbow of precut papers, rolling tools of all kinds, a paper crimper, glue bottle (no glue, you provide this) and some other stuff — most of the basic stuff you'd need to get started with quilling. I'm getting back into quilling after a VERY long time away from it, so I needed most of the items in this package. Great starter supply kit.

This kit is pretty nice. It’s got everything I need to start quilling, aside from instructions. That’s the biggest thing missing from this kit - I expected instructions for how to use all the tools, instead of having to go on YouTube and hunt down tutorials for each tool. Also, mine came with two papers to use for quilling art, an uppercase A and an uppercase C, but there weren’t any inspiration pictures or instructions so again I had to find my own, along with my own glue. Regardless, it’s a pretty solid set for a beginner.

Es'Nook Paper Quilling Kit for Beginners 5mm 800pcs Quilling Paper 11 Kinds Paper Quilling ToolsI've done quilling for many years. So I know what I'm looking for in quilling paper. And this isn't it. Of the paper I received, the two hanks with the gray in them and the purple set are quilling paper. They are the right thickness and almost the correct weight, with almost the correct texture. (Even these aren't equivalent to U.S. quilling papers). The rest of the colors feel a little heavier than typing paper/printer paper -- not at all heavy enough for quilling. The tools are okay; the scissors are for children. The quilling board will be useful, and I like that it includes several inexpensive tools. What you're buying this for, however, is the paper. And the paper is subpar for use in quilling.
