Very high quality violin string with great tone and resonance. I have only recently put it on my violin so cannot say yet anything about it longevity.

The past full sets of Eval Pirazzi Gold I've purchased, the A string came unwound near third position, within 2-3 months. This used to never happen. I think Pirastro changed something about the construction, or the formulation of the alloy. Also overpriced. I'm starting to explore other options. These were great a few years ago, but with the higher price, and decreased durability of the A, I'm about done with these.

String arrived as scheduled. Installed as replacement for a Dominant A that lasted 5 weeks before breaking. Similar short life with 2 previous Dominant A strings.This string seems like a good match. I like the sound and feel. Only had this string for 2 days but I do feel that it is an improvement.

I am not a fan. I had a set of these three years ago on an very good modern violin during a summer chamber music workshop. Once was enough. Like the regular Evah Pirazzis, the tension is somewhat higher than many competitive sets. The sound is good and I think a little less edgy than the regular Evahs. I found them hard to play on--my preference is for a little less tension.If you like Evah Pirazzis but think they are too edgy on your violin, these could be just for you.

They fit my daughter's violin well. She loved them from the start! Just as what they advertised, these strings create rich and powerful sound.
