I ordered this set of EXCEART Dental Color Code Rings in the Multi-Color option. I really appreciate that they come in a handy, clear plastic, pop-top organizer that has a different compartment for each color. My main use for these color code rings is not dental. It is musical. I wanted to create a visual aid by color coding the sharping levers of 2 lever harps which have different styles of sharping levers from each other. Similar to the black keys on a piano, sharping levers on a harp change the pitch of a string by one semi-tone. When a harpist needs to quickly flip a lever while playing, it's easy to miss the intended lever and accidentally flip the neighboring one instead. The 2 different styles of sharping levers I tried these color code rings on are Rees and Camac. I was successful in stretching and sliding them onto both. I had also hoped to use these color code rings on the other side of the harp neck to mark the "C" and "F" tuning pins of a pedal harp and as well the "C" and "F" tuning pins of a lever harp so I wouldn't have to keep peeking over the neck to make sure that I've got the tuning wrench on the pin that corresponds to a certain string/note and not mistakenly on the next pin over. Unfortunately, these color code rings are too small in diameter to stretch onto a tuning pin. I measured these rings, and according to my ruler, they are 6mm in outer diameter by about 4mm in inside diameter by about 6mm high. After having done some further research, I've learned that this type of color code ring is generally available to be ordered online in 2 sizes: Small and Large. These specific rings fall under the size Small category. I think size Large might fit over my tuning pins, but I haven't yet ordered any to find out. For my specific musical purpose, these color code rings work well and are a good value!

These are exactly what they say they are. They are not easily stretched, but they are quite stretchy. They are intended for dental tools, so they fit nicely on instruments that are 5-6mm thick. I put one one a BIC pen just to see if it was possible, it was.My daughters and I have a lot of artist's tools which are duplicates. Mine tools "disappear" if I don't label them. However, printed labels fade or begin to peel after a time, especially when they get wet. These are the perfect solution. You get 20 each of 8 different colors in a handy little case. The bands are reusable, can be placed anywhere along the handle of your tool, and fit great on paint brush handles, carving tools and dental tools alike. These are handy little items.

These dental bands were absolutely horrible. Cheaply made and broke the second I try to put them on any dental instruments.

There use to be a video and it showed these bands stretching. Nope they don’t. Now I’m stuck w these and they’re non refundable!

Purchased these to identify finger looped instruments in different surgical packs. The product's video shows someone using a right angled hemostat to stretch the ring over the finger loop of the instruments. When I tried, the elastic rings popped over & again; needed them to stretch over the 1in finger loop plus an extra 1/8 in for the hemostat tips. They pop when stretched beyond 1in. Would work OK over scalpel handles & thumb forceps, anything without a finger loop. Didn't to assess their durability after repeated autoclaving. Tried to return the two unused packs & found out they are not returnable despite no mention of this anywhere on the order page when I went back and checked.

When you stretch the bands over the instruments they turn white and dull. I do not recommend this product.

These bands are not big enough to go over anything with a handle and are too small even to fit onto forceps or scalpel handles. They break very easily too. Dont waste your money especially since they dont accept returns. Huge disappointment.
