Replace belt with 450 hrs on it ( 6 years old) Glad I took pictures of the belt pattern before removing the old one. Mower seems to work much better with new belt.

I have used 3 Stens 266-287 OEM belts and torn them up. I am trying this Exmark 135-5774-SL belt. When placing the 2 belts side by side I can see that they are different in construction. The original Exmark belt lasted over 6 years. The Stens belts have not lasted nearly as long. There was a mechanical issue with the mower deck during the time I used 2 of the 3 Stens belts which was corrected. I am looking forward to see if this Exmark belt fares as well as the first one.
