This is a great product for your cat’s litter box. It is silicone and stays put on the ground. The silicone also makes the clean up very easy. It has a lip that keeps the rouge litter contained. This product has greatly helped keep the litter from being scattered all over the floor. I got the two piece version. The solid base is separate from the top grid layer. I like the two separate pieces better. Our cat is a digger and so had some issues with the top layer. Since it was two pieces I just took the top layer off. It still works great and I may try to put it back on as she gets used to the new mat. Overall I would definitely recommend this product.

I have 5 litter boxes. All but one have a flat top with a hole for entry. I went with those because at the time, I had two very little kids and a dog that was way too interested in the cat, well, you know. Despite the top, I have always been amazed how much litter ended up scattered around the box and beyond. I got the biggest two-part version of this litter-trapping mat and put it under the messiest box. What a difference. I use the ultra-fine scoopable litter, and the litter comes or is knocked off paws as kitty walks away, falling through the mesh where it is contained by the raised edges of the bottom piece. The silicone is not only functional for keeping the mat in place, but I think that tackiness helps clean the litter off their paws as they walk across it. The mat is easy to clean; the sections can be shaken off like a rug outside, or you can vacuum it. Plus, silicone is easily washed and dried, unlike carpets under the litter box. The cats have never liked the litter boxes with the top entry; you can tell because they always position themselves with their head sticking out the hole. Because the inquisitive dog has passed, the kids are older, and this mat seems effective at containing the litter, I may try a high-sided open box in one location and see how it goes.

It is definitely waterproof. Solid silicone mat, but very lightweight. I made sure to get a big size to fit the litter box we have and even at that size my cat still manages to kick bits out so I am happy to have the mat!. The litter does fall through the little holes (and we use pellet litter which is bigger than the sandy types) and it falls through just fine. Because it comes in two pieces it is super easy to clean, just pull the mesh part off and then wipe down the solid piece. I think I would only want to pay about $20 for it - that would be more reasonable for what it is. But it does the trick

This cat litter mat works as expected. It does a great job at keeping litter from spreading around my house by capturing it in the little holes. I really like the two layer because it seems to keep the litter below the top surface well. I don't know if the single layer would work the same way. The material is really easy to clean and our cats don't seem to mind stepping on it. I recommend this for keeping your cats' litter area cleaner.

This is a great mat for catching debris and for easy cleaning. I like the design for things to fall through to the mat to catch underneath it. You can shake off the bottom piece and then give it wash and disinfecting scrub and it dries quickly. It is a good size and the silicone is nice quality.

This mat is an excellent quality. It's a great size and covers a big area around the litter box. It's easy to empty and clean.

My 6 month old Siamese kitten is a menace when it comes to using the litter box. She is in a phase of not being able to restrain herself from slinging litter everywhere (we're working on it) so this extra large mat has been great at keeping most of the loose litter contained so it isn't going all over the floor constantly. The 2 layer design is great, making for a super easy way to clean it. I just pick it up daily and either shake it over the trash or outside, and then for a deeper clean I hose down and disinfect the mat outside and hang it to dry for a bit. It has saved me so much time because I'm not having to frequently vacuum up the mess that she makes from playing in the litter box. It also works very well at keeping the litter contained from when she jumps out of the box, collecting at least most of the litter that can be left on her paws. Very happy with this mat!
