We got this vacuum cleaning wand as we live in an area with winter so come spring our car mats aren't the cleanest. I personally swap out mine for rubber mats, but my husband prefers the carpet mats. We had an opportunity to give it a try this last weekend and it worked great. We had to make an adapter to fit the shop vac we wanted to use with it as the shop vac has a 2.5" hose and this is 1.5". Thankfully we have a 3D printer in the house so a quick CAD, then a not as quick 3D print and the adapter is done. We connected the sprayer to an electric pressure washer we had recently picked up just for this purpose. We needed an adapter there too, but found it online and got it a few days before we needed it.Overall this is a really nice cleaning wand, the high pressure trigger works well, with any leaks and is easy to operate. We used a lower pressure power washer at 1800psi versus our gas model which is 3800psi. Either could be used but we weren't interested in taking the carpet off the mats just cleaning them so figured 1800psi would work fine, which it did. One of the key things to consider is the strength of your shop vac. We used a 5hp shop vac that we normally use to suck water and blow water out of the pipes in our pool to winterize. It worked perfect for this cleaning wand. Thus if you try to use this will a low HP/CFM vacuum you may get mixed results as the key to this is not only to be able to flood the surface of the material with water/cleaner but quickly and easily extract it too via vacuum. The product is well constructed, works well and seems like it will last for a good long time for occasional uses.

This vacuum wand is one of a kind. The quality of material is heavier than expected - and should last for many years to come. I am impressed with the amount of brass on this. It literally is commercial grade. I am using this to build my own shampoo device. This unit might be plug and play for some devices out there - But I didn't have one. The water feed hose is a standard quick connect fitting that could easily be matched if you take it to the hard ware store and find the other end. I am planning to connect to a small submersible pump (water cooler pump) dropped into a 5 gallon bucket with my carpet cleaning mix. The valve body that is on the handle is all you need to complete the circuit. It is a quality brass construction, and will have no problem handling 30-50 psi (my assumption). The vacuum end is a little odd, and will take some creativity to cross over to a shop vac - thank goodness for a plethora of PVC fittings on the market - this is not an issue.Overall, this little device is all you need to build a high quality shampoo device using a basic shop vac and some creativity.

There's a Postrio and auto detailing wand is the perfect attachment for my vacuum. It allows me to shampoo my upholstery with high-pressure water behind it and my wet vac seems to retrieve over 90% of the water sprayed. It does a very good job at shampooing my interior of my car and has taken many stains out of my sheets and made them look brand new again. It has a trigger on it for the high pressure sprayer which is brass and noncorrosive. It covers a 4 inch wide area on every sweep. Overall I am extremely happy with this and I wish I purchased it many years ago for every car that I've had. I highly recommend it for anyone who has a wet/dry ShopVac as it is the perfect additional attachment to have in your garage hanging around.

Deep clean of my car seats and carpet. I hooked this up to my shop vac and my pressure washer and man does it clean the carpets in my cars. My shop vac has a good draw on it and along with the pressure of the spray I get a fantastic clean with this extractor attachment. This thing is quality built to all stainless steel and a clear thick plastic head so you can see the dirt it pulls up. The hose is high pressure with brass fittings. This is one tool I would recommend to my friends.

I have dogs and kids, and live in Minnesota where just about everything wants to stick to shoes, feet, and paws...and eventually my carpets! It should go without saying that cleaning my carpets is a constant task. Having the best tools you can to accomplish this is something I recommend to everyone. Ironically, I woke up to one of my dogs vomiting in my bedroom today. So it is rather fortuitous that I got received nozzle when I did. This extractor head is useful for getting into smaller spots like vehicle carpets and stairs, or for cleaning more delicate items like furniture that cannot withstand the scrubbing action of active rollers (just trust me). It has an open port on the back, for connecting to an extractor or a shop-type vacuum, which is 36 mm internally and 38 mm externally. If you are using it with a Shop-Vac, you will need an adapter that goes from 1.5" to whatever sized hose you are using on that particular vacuum (measure it first!). You will want to be gentle installing it because the walls of the handle are only about a millimeter thick and came a little bit sharp. I will probably debur that surface and sand it slightly just to knock that edge down. The spray nozzle is controlled by a robust looking brass valve. All the connections are threaded and I assume are NPT, though I am not certain about that. For water and cleaning solution the hose comes with an ISO-B type quick connect at the end. These are standard for this kind of tool and easy to find if you do not have one. They are very nice because they seal when disconnected so they can be connected quickly under pressure without making a (giant) mess. They do limit the flow a little, but not severely enough to matter. If you are using this with a garden hose, I would strongly suggest making certain there is a sediment filter somewhere on the line. Someone like a 100 micron filter should do the trick without being overly restrictive or prone to clogging. It will save you from having to deal with a clogged nozzle - which would require partially disassembling the head. Plus you can also figure out how to use something to insert some cleaner into the line as well. (The only downside here is that it will likely be cold water.)The clear plastic end is fairly robust, and just about the perfect size to maximize suction. The spray nozzle was a slightly misaligned when I received the nozzle, but was easy to reorient so that it sprays down the throat evenly. (It probably wouldn't matter, but I am just like that!)If you already have the connections for this tool, you'll be in business. If you don't have them, you will need to plan ahead a little bit. This tool is not ready to go out of the box, but it has all of the capability as advertised. I actually consider this to be a positive thing since, instead of trying to guess at what you need and charge a little extra, the vendor leaves it up to you. I have a large selection of adapters and connectors for my shop vacs, so it was very easy for me to adapt the tool to the hose. If you do not, I would strongly suggest that, before ordering, you make sure that you have ahead. There are a lot of different sizes both internal and external when it comes to this task and it can be quite frustrating!About that dog (she is a sweetheart!), I got that little mess cleaned up in no time at all. This extractor wand worked great and, as an added benefit, was very easy to rinse off and clean when I was done. Many of the cheaper carpet cleaners on the market that have a wand like this are an absolute nightmare to clean - particularly when there is a lot of hair worked into the carpet and you cannot vacuum it before cleaning. If you are looking for one of these, you will see that there are a lot of different options that look very similar. This one seems to be priced a little higher than some of the others (at least as of this writing anyway), but I cannot vouch for their quality. All I can say is that this nozzle is going into my carpet cleaning arsenal and I expect it is going to see a lot of use. If you are in the market for one of these, I think this is a good option - just be sure you have or obtain whatever you need to connect to it!(Ugh - just heard my dog making some noises again. Sigh...it might be a long day with her. It seems that I am very lucky that this came when it did!)
