Nice idea, but not usable on my camera. I would have to use tape to keep it on as suggested by someone else. I care about aesthetics so that won't do.

Viel besser als die Originale. Sehr angenehm für Auge und die Durchsicht. Es stört damit halt keinerle Fremdlicht mehr. Ist wie in einer Dunkelkammer.Dies gilt aber nur für Nikons D-Reihe unter D7500. Die Muschel verdeckt etwas den obren Rand der Displays. Das stört nicht, wenn man die Kamera leicht kippt. Bei der 7500 behindeet sie leider das Ausklappen des Displays. Das ilkann wirklich nerven. Wenn jemand nur mit dem Sucher knipst und das Display höchstens für ne schnelle Kontrolle nutzt, kann man auch bei der 7500 damit leben, notfalls läßt sich die Augenmuschel wieder leicht gegen das Original austauschen.Es gibt allerdings auch rechteckig geformte, weiche Augenmuscheln, evtl. sind die ein guter Kompromiss. Mal ausprobieren.

chiude perfettamente la luce, migliorando la visione, è un po troppo grande per la mia D5600, copre il sensore di presenza che quindi oscura lo schermo, inoltre tocca sullo sportellino impedendone l'apertura, niente di grave ma fastidioso. fatto con buon materiale conforme alla descrizione, venditore veloce e preciso.

It covers the eye nicely, but the huge drawback is the radius of the eyecup covers the back lcd screen significantly. Secondly, flip out screens cannot be flipped out.

Aunque, como se dice en otras reseñas, dificulta los movimientos de la pantalla, es muy útil y eficaz pues oscurece la visión lateral en condiciones de alta luminosidad y permite concentrar la vista en el encuadre y los parámetros que se ven a través del visor. Así pues, puede colocarse después de mover la pantalla o bien colocarlo sólo cuando la luminosidad exterior así lo exija. Mi cámara es una NIkon D5500, que permite más posibilidades de giro de la pantalla, y lo he utilizado con resultado muy satisfactorio.

My girlfriend uses this product for her Nikon cameras which helps reduce sun glare and helps her eye sensitivity as well. It cups her eye well enough to see through the lens in capturing the right photograph without squinting too much and so forth. Even not in the sun, it helps cushion the eye when taking photographs. Just ensure the small piece that is coming on the camera is taken off first by sliding it off than sliding this one on. What is great about this eyepiece it allows one to take photos using both eyes just by turning it for that specific eye usage. She had this one before and with it being taken care of the right way it can last a long time. Store in a safe room temperature bag and would not recommend keeping it in the sun.

Just tad bit firm, other than that it's great! I like the magnification it's clear, I can see it better than before and tell when things are in focus.

I purchased this for my Nikon D750 and it definitely helps to keep light out of my eye when setting up a shot. It's comfortable and was easy to install. I never take it off.

I have been using DK-21 cup, but several years. I needed a cup that I can use outdoors including bright sun lit situations. The DK-21 does not provide very little protection from the bright light source coming from the side. This cup provides a snug contoured coverage of the eye from external light sources. One of the problems that I had with other lens cover from various manufacturer was that this piece would come off rather easily. This cup is pretty securely in place and so far I have not had this unit fall off the camera. The original Nikon eye cup was much more secure than the replacement that I purchased from Amazon which came is package of two.Yes, this eye cup does cover the display screen by about 1/2 inch of the top and can be bit of trouble in viewing the images and menu items. I have not had any major issues with this blocking of display.Of course, if you wear glasses, you will have little more issues. I usually take of my glasses when I am taking pictures, and the eye compensation on the Nikon 7200 is just enough for me to not use the eye glasses. With my eye glasses on, the image in the view finder will be limited and not full view will be attained. Without the eye glasses this eye cup allows full view of the view finder.For the money, this is above average built unit and its primary utility in outdoor photograph. In the door use, I am just fine with the original eye cup that came with the camera. But this is much better eye cup when used in outdoors.After using the cup for about month I still enjoy this eye cup, and I will be buying another for my other cameras.

I'm a professional boudoir/portrait photographer and have this attached to my Nikon d750. This is a great addition to any camera as it really helps block out ambient light from the viewfinder. I routinely have multiple shoots per day and will do 12 hours and 1200 photographs in one day. Before purchasing this I suffered a lot of eye strain during long shoots, this has greatly reduced the fatigue and has made it a lot more comfortable to shoot overall. It is simple to install (took maybe 5 seconds), it stays put, and its easy to switch between portrait and landscape modes (which I do all the time). It's withstood tons of abuse and is still looking brand new. Great quality product.

This is a very good eye cup. It is comfortable and better looking through this then the original eyepiece blocks out more light. The only downside is that it does not clip-on as good as the original. So in a bag if they fall off. I actually had to rebuy a second one because my first one fell off and I lost it. But it was good enough for me to repurchase.
