This product is made from a light plastic. I would have preferred for it to be a bit thicker to withstand the elements and resist cracking or warping. I'm not convinced that it will last a long time, but time will tell. The screw top is a bit finicky so it took me a couple tries to get it lined up and screwed on. I tested it in a bowl of water while weighing it down and it is water proof. Overall, it's not a bad product, I just think there are higher quality products out there.

Love this. My husband hasn't even noticed it is there. Its been outside for 2 weeks nows. Very stealthy way to hide my house key for emergencies. And it's waterproof to boot.
