Used this for my roof to anchor the other day and it worked well. I did not stress test it much but the 150 pound downward pressure on it using a metal anchor worked well and I did not find it to give too much when dropping. It can dig in to your stomach just a bit but it is required to keep safe so it makes sense. Easily adjustable.

Unfortunately this full body harness was a bit smaller than I expected, so I wasn't able to test it out personally. But I was able to get it to fit a friend of mine, so he put it on and put it through it's paces for me. I'd be lying if I said he thought it was comfortable, because I doubt anyone could make such a claim if they've ever worn fall protection lol... But he says it was definitely more comfortable than many he had used before, so to me that says a lot. I hope we never have to put it to a full on real world test during an actual fall, but I'm confident it would do the job if needed.

I’ve worn fall arresting harnesses for a majority of my 30 year working life. This harness is flat out lightweight, comfortable, well built and carefully made. Safety equipment is not something anyone gets excited about purchasing. When I was climbing towers and working out of bucket trucks every day cost did not factor into the decision nearly as much as it does when you need one for working on a roof. After spending over 20 years working anywhere from 20’ up to 200’ in the air or anywhere from 10’ to a particularly dirty 40’ deep manhole the only time I have ever had my harness come tight is working on metal roofs. At the very least they have saved me a trip to the er several times. There are a ton of options out there to choose from and I can say without question that the $30 safety harness is not a great choice. Ask yourself what you are worth and how much is a reasonable amount for you to pay to keep yourself safe and how much comfort means to you. You certainly don’t need the most expensive option available but purchasing a piece of safety equipment that costs a little bit of money should not be an issue. This harness is a solid value. It’s very adjustable, it’s comfortable and it feels and appears very well made. There are a couple of things that stick out for me. The first is the instruction manual. You can always tell a piece of junk from a well made piece of safety equipment from its instruction manual. Like any good manual for a piece of safety equipment it clearly lists the ANSI standards it meets, its limitations, various safety measures, maintenance standards and includes a sign off sheet for the regular inspections that are required. All the adjustments for the harness are easy to use, operate smoothly and have a quality finish. The D rings are sturdy but lightweight, are all clearly marked with flawless finishing to the metal and coatings. The chest strap has a great connection with a small D-ring to use as an attachment point for your lanyard when you’re not in the air. That’s a super nice idea that probably will not be around forever. The D-ring is very small but eventually some idiot will decide it’s an attachment point, fall, break it in the process and it will become non compliant with a new rule.Overall this is a great value for something that you have to trust your safety with.A couple of additional notes:This is a single use fall protection harness. It’s never a good thing to use them after they have sustained the shock of a true fall arrest. This one has features that show it has and the instructions clearly indicate that it must be destroyed after one arrest.I believe it’s rated for up to 310lbs total weight. You big guys, especially the ones who load up 80lbs of hardware and tools when they climb are either going to need to lighten the load or look for a harnesses made to handle the additional weight.

I use this harness when I am going up ladders onto rooftops. The harness is easy to adjust and don. The straps and buckle closures are sturdy. This harness seems to be made well and has worked for me so far. I can recommend ordering.

This harness is well made, comfortable, and fits my body well. I'm 5-6 and 170. It's easy to put on and take off, the best harness for the price, and has held up great in a heavy construction environment.

My boyfriend works for a sign company and he is always on the sides or the roofs of buildings. This harness is A+ at keeping him safe and making him feel safe as well. It’s durable and thick material makes it very good quality.
