My GMC truck has the security flaw that someone can replicate me signal. I put my key in this thing with a small [iece of metal so I could press it form the outside. and it did not transmit to my truck. So I dont have to worry about someone repicating my signal and stealing my truck while Im sleeping

Larger than expected...keyfob however does not move much when it's inside the case.. The zipper is sticky at several locations....so opening and closing becomes an annoying task. The RFID shield works...car will not recognize key when hidden in bag. I removed the chain inside the bag. It can be used to secure keyfob. I prefer not having it...reduce odds of damaging keyfob. Other than the zipper, the rest of the bag is build well. Minus 2 stars for the zipper issue. Will continue to use it for the next few weeks...then decide to whether to stop using it.

This is a pretty simple product. Put your key fob in there, make sure the fabric flap covers the key completely, and zip it shut. When I did that, and put the key in the vehicle, it was like the key wasn't there. This case is bulky, but it needs to be to accommodate large keys like the key for my Jeep. The zipper closure is a little fussy, but it gets the job done.

Okay, this does work at blocking your car key's signal but it's hard to zip and bulky. I'm taking a star off for that.You must lay the fabric flap over your key after inserting your key in the case for it to work. The zipper is hard to use - it doesn't zip easily in the corners. The added buckle is just added bulk - I have no use for it. The case is too bulky for a man to stick in a pocket. I understand it costs more to manufacture because of sewing in the zipper so I understand the higher cost, but now I realize I'd prefer one without a zipper.

I acquired this product to be able to hold my car key when traveling and was looking for signal blocking features. This feature works great, but my wife's car key barely fits in this case and the zipper is very hard to use on the corners of this case. We have other pouches that have similar features and they are easier to use and are larger so the key fits easier. I took off 1 star for the difficult zipper.I took of a 2nd star because of the listed price of $29. That is double the cost of similar non-zippered pouches and you get two of those for the lower price. I would not recommend this product unless you have both a smaller key and really want the "carbon fiber".
