I am starting to like these Edgekeeper knifes. I wish they had matching sets for the size and type I want. I would like to see them with 5% more carbon-steel to give them a harder edge to last a little longer.

I have a nice faberware knife with a full tang and good weight that looks exactly like this knife except with a quality handle. This knife has a very lightweight cheap handle and the center fake pin has already fallen off. While if you can get a decent grip on it it will slice reasonably well it's useless as a chopper. Thought the price was to good to be true. You get what you pay for. We have had the other knife for many years. Quality has definitely gone downhill. Not worth the trouble of sending back for the price. You would need to see what the product was before you can understand what cheap junk this is.

I almost cut my finger off while cutting potatoes...so I'd say it's a pretty knife 😜 stays very very sharp forever with the built in sharpener in the cover.

This is a really sharp, small knife! It's very lightweight and comes with a cover, so it's perfect to travel with (if you're staying at a place with a kitchen and plan to cook or camping). So far I've had no issues with cutting anything, but I don't dare something hard like a watermelon. Unless it were small, this wouldn't work for it anyway due to the size of the knife (too short). The recommendation to wash and immediately dry the knife is printed directly on it, which I actually love. It's easy to forget instructions for things when you have a mound of dishes to get through. The other cool feature is the self-sharpening that occurs in the actual cover. How clever is that? I have a sharpener at home and I use it maybe once a year, because it feels like such a hassle. So this is awesome. This is a great little knife; I'm impressed.

Given the price point, I believe this is a really nice knife. I am not someone who particularly enjoys cooking and much of my current cooking utensils are pretty low quality stuff from Walmart that I’ve had for years, so I may be a bit biased since I am not used to cutting with quality knives, but I was really happy with how much easier slicing and dicing was with this knife. I also liked the grip of this knife as someone with small hands, I feel like I have better control than my other knives. This knife cleans well and I like that it has a cover for the blade since it just lives in a drawer. Do be aware that it is hand wash only! Overall I recommend.
