Works as advertised. Unfortunately the rest of the band broke and wants $69 or so. I've come to the conclusion that Garmin is junk, which is fortunate as I will be buying some aviation equipment in the next year or so and was debating between Garmin and Dynon. Better to learn from a cheap fitness tracker!

These strap loop things are GREAT and are exactly what you need!The problem of the Garmin Vivosport band is twofold.1. The band is not replaceable. Seems ridiculous, but there it is. No kidding. You cannot replace the band. Garmin will replace the whole watch if the band breaks in a certain warranty time, but you better break it before then or you are buying another watch, probably not another Garmin. This is nuts because the Vivosport watch itself is great. It's compact and has zero protruding buttons (all taps and swipes!), so it does not get caught on everything (like your sleeve, your mountain bike cables or your face if you tumble), and the GPS works great, and interfaces with the Garmin Connect App, which interfaces with Strava.2. The keeper loop gets loose and worn pretty quick so the free end of the band comes loose and gets caught on everything about eight thousand times a day so you waste a cumulative hour of your day putting it back in.A great little device defeated by a cheesy watchband design!Garmin should consider testing products with real users.

After almost a year, my original strap retainer ring broke for my Garmin Vivosport. I looked for a replacement and bought these. Easy to use, and has been holding snug since. And if one breaks, I have 10 more. Finishing isn't perfect, and color isn't exactly the same. But for $6 ish for 11, it's more than fine.Not perfect, but does what it needs to at what feels like a good value.

After one year of having my Vivosport, my loop/band keeper tore in half. Very happy with this purchase! Love that there are more than one pieces in here. I actually put two on and it is way more secure than just one; the band doesn't end up lifting up in the middle and then, become free. These pieces fit perfectly and are comfortable. Overall, I would say this is way better than the original piece my Vivosport came with.
