Really nice outer shell. The cover for the key is a little loose, so would definitely fill with water in a rainstorm, but overall, it's a great rock-key.

Not sure why mine came with a c shaped indent that was painted burgundy. The rest looked natural but this addition made it obvious it was fake. Do not recommend.

This rock looks even more realistic than in the photographs. The description says that the secret compartment may be invisible even when the rock is turned over. This is not true. Close examination may reveal the compartment. That said, I like this product. When placed carefully , this "rock" will hide a key perfectly.

I wouldn’t be confusing this with a potato. Rubbed a little soil on it and it fits right in with the many other rocks in the garden. The cover fits in the opening. It is a little loose but fixed that by adding some layers of bubble wrap between the key and the lid. The pressure of the bubbles makes the lid fit snugly.

My purchase not only looks like a rock, it is heavy like a rock. I believe my hidden key is safe because it’s waterproof so I don’t have to “hide” it on the porch. An inexpensive, very practical gift. As a senior citizen, I am secure knowing I can hide a key outside in case I need rescuing.

Sturdy construction and closure. Blends with other stones in my garden. I placed my key in a ziplock bag before placing it inside the "rock," since this is NOT waterproof. The rock was roomy enough for all . I'm very pleased with my purchase.

We just had large river rocks (Which is what this replica is), put around our house, so this matches perfectly!! Only I can tell which one it is that holds the key. So much so that I had to take some thought as to where I would place it so that I wouldn't forget and loose track of whee I put the fake rock!! Waaaayyyy better than putting a key under your doormat- you'd may as well leave your door unlocked and put a sign out, "Criminal come on it". Even if you don't already have River Rocks around your house now. get some and make a little garden, just so you can buy this to put your spare key in. Totally worth it!!

This "rock" blends into the other rocks I have in an area near the front door. The illusion is perfect until it's pointed out. Even after that, it's hardly noticeable. The bottom slides off, but on the one I received, it didn't fit close enough to stay in place, so that when I picked it up, the bottom fell off. A perplexing problem. I solved it by putting a bead of flexible glue in the track where the bottom slides and letting it dry overnight. When I slid it back into place, it removed the glue in the places where there was too much, and now it fits tightly. I think this is a manufacturing defect, but it is fixable. Minus one star.
