1.Because the valves was made very tightly by many manufacturers, When you can't unscrew and unable to determine direction, you can try to unscrew from left or right to let it become a little looser.

Not worth it. The prongs are too small and are they are squared off and sharp. This lead to it slipping and tearing up the brass. Get snap ring pliers instead.

I tried using this tool to remove a valve for my c02 cartidge pistol, but both tabs on the tool broke when reinstalling!complete junk!

Cheap pot metal. Teeth broke off in the valve first time I used it. Don't waste your money. Buy a better brand.

Great valve key, but It’s not long enough to get to the valve’s for most of my air pistol's and it will not turn to loosen one of my air rifles due to the size of this valve key and not enough room in the CO2 magazine to turn the key.
