Your cart is empty.Made for Fender instruments in a variety of vintage-style and contemporary models. Chrome-plated steel tremolo plate with stop tailpiece. "Fender" and "Pat # 2972923" are stamped into the plate. Assembly also includes tremolo lock button and tremolo arm bushing. Note: Assembly is designed to use a 10/32 threaded tremolo arm instead of the traditional pop-in style arm. Assembly does not include tremolo arm or tremolo-to-bridge mounting screws. Fits Classic Player (Mexico) Series instruments. Will also retrofit to American Vintage (US) Jaguar/Jazzmaster models.

I mounted this on an unbranded Jaguar body and it fit perfectly and works wonderfully. It is one of the few trems I've had that keeps my guitar in tune even after excessive use. The lock button is a handy feature too. If I need one again, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again.

It works, unlike some foreign brands so I give a 4 star rating. Should cost 35 bucks so dinged one star on price.Update: Dinged another star for lack of smoothness. I have two squire jazzmaster bridges that pull much smoother and feel more comfortable.

I read the product description on this page when I bought the tailpiece, so I bought the Classic Player Tremolo Arm (#007-7422-049) separately. It's the one that screws in, but it didn't fit. It was too thick for the collet. I'm sort of at a loss as to which arm I should buy now because I don't want to waste more money. Everything else is fine about it and installation was no hassle.

The parts where the string plate meet the wing plate with three screws was jagged. I was losing my mind trying to figure it out. Wasted hours. I sanded, and polished the metal where the two parts meet, and added Vaseline. Works fine now. Fender needs to work on quality control for these. Unbelievable.

I bought this to replace the tremolo in my Squier Classic Vibe Jazzmaster because I wanted a locking tremolo and it doesn't come with one. This dropped right in and was a perfect fit. You do need to get the matching tremolo arm though as the one that comes with the Squier is not the screw in type that this tremolo requires.
