Crafted at our Ensenada, Mexico, manufacturing facility, this genuine Fender Stratocaster guitar maple neck features a comfortable “soft V” profile and 7.25”-radius maple fingerboard with 21 vintage-style frets. The nut is pre-slotted with “pilot” string location grooves to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing, and a gloss urethane finish on the back offers smooth playability. Vintage style neck. The truss rod adjusts at the heel of the neck. THIS NECK DOES NOT SUPPORT TWO PIN MODERN STYLE TUNERS!! Correct your description!!

Absolutely exceeded my expectations! The neck appears to be identical to a Vintera II '50s neck. Closest I'll get to the legendary Gilmour Strat. Highly recommend!

No doubts. Is Fender. Forget details like MIM, 3, 2, 1 stars reviews from "Karen" and blah blah blah. Is fender quality. Flawless. Is perfect for pure vintage machine heads. Comes predrilled for that. Fits with awesome perfection on Fender body Vintage Bridge Routing. Go for it.

Didn’t have Six two-guide-pin tuning machine holes like the description says. It’s the 7 hole vintage tuner holes. Just an FYI. Fret edges felt nice, so I’ll keep it and return the Fender locking tuners I originally purchased to put on this neck.

The neck's finish was perfect. Straight-edged the frets and found everything was laser-straight. No high or low frets and the fret edges are decently filed down to be comfortable. The only thing that needed work on mine was the nut but they tell you that from the start. I'd recommend a decent set of nut files from Music Nomad or StewMac or take the assembled guitar to a qualified luthier as the string height on all strings was above .06-.08 at the nut. (typical on most electric guitars is between .015-.03) The tuner bushing holes were a tiny bit bigger than I would have liked. (Kluson bushings were pretty loose fitting) but not really an issue.Overall I'm very happy with this neck.

Neck fit perfect, on 2005 Squier SE body. Neck was in great shape. No nicks or dings. Shipping was extremely fast. Would buy again!

Bought a warehouse deal neck at a steep discount and got a near perfect neck with a small scratch on the walnut truss rod plug. Turns out I received the more expensive Vintage 50’s Gloss Lacquer neck instead of the poly finished neck I thought I was ordering. Frets need a little work but don’t they all?

Way better than expected, no fret end dressing one of the nicest feeling guitar neck I have ever laid my hands on. Great craftsmanship. Just file the nut and you at good to go. Frets ends are beautiful no filing required.

I chose the MIM maple fretboard instead of the rosewood. It has a nice vintage yellowed color to it and the craftsmanship is amazing. Apparently, the MIM necks are made in the Corona factory, and finished in the Ensenada factory. Not a big difference between the MIM and MIA necks other than the truss rod access hole and how to adjust. This fit like a glove in my MIM body and I hand tightened the screws into place. I installed the Fender Pure Vintage machine heads in about 15 minutes. I also had to install a string tree which is a little more challenging as there's no pilot hole. The nut needs a little filing, but not much. The neck is perfectly straight and I was able to adjust the intonation and saddles on my bridge and was playing within 30 minutes. I love this neck. It will need a little wearing in to get the perfect vibrato and feel, but out of the box its a 10.

The neck was well crafted, felt good in my hand. Had to file the nut string guides. Haven't finished rebuilding my guitar...will let you know more once I am done.

I fell in love with a MIJ 57RI v neck about 20 years ago. This is not quite the same but pretty fantastic for the price on its own. For $200 from the factory you can't go wrong. It's a bummer there is no date stamp on the heel but no biggie. The nut is left high for adjustment. I filed the string grooves on mine and wish now I had popped the nut out and filed from the back side. Seriously 2 c notes for a factory issued v neck with a legit vintage strat decal and a walnut plug/heel adjust truss rod, it's a no brainer. Fretwork so far seems perfect and the truss rod seems perfect too. I'd call it a medium gloss poly finish. I've seen thicker. But it has a nice vintage tint.
