As with most items, especially medications, that are purchased for first aid with hope it will never be needed. I purchased these for refreshing all my first aid kits. I have more than I needed. I couldn’t find them in a smaller cost per item. Sharing with friends.

I keep these in all of my first aid kits. They're small and easy to carry, making them a non-negotiable piece of my kit. They do what they're supposed to do, and the price is good. I will be purchasing more of these.

These are great tools to have in any first aid kit, and are particularly helpful for when you need medical supplies on the go, such as in a car first aid kit, traveling with kids or dogs, or any situation where you don't have much room, but need safe, effective antiseptic at your disposal. Povidone iodine is an extremely safe, extremely effective antiseptic. In fact, it is used in hospitals throughout the world pre and post surgery, to prevent any infection at incision sites, as well as to sanitize scrapes, cuts, and deep wounds. It kills germs and is a powerful protectant against infection, without using any antibiotics, which is very helpful in this age of superbugs and antibiotic resistance. These pads are like hand cleaning wipes you are given at rib restaurants or crab feeds. The small, think packages are the exact same size. Inside contains a thin, small cloth that is pre-soaked in povidone iodine. Please note that povidone iodine is brown in color naturally, so when you use these wipes, whatever you use them on will turn a slight brown tinge, but it is temporary and washes off easily. I highly recommend placing these wipes in any family's first aid kid, as well as car first aid kits, travel first aid kits, and any traver's bag. I even use these for my dogs for cuts, scrapes, and skin infections, with great results.

I have a couple first aid kits spread out my house, car and work. Most of the store bought kits come with more bandaid than anything. I wanted to make my kits a little more well rounded.I stumbled apon this product. I wanted something to clean out a cut, and scrape or wound. I most first aid kit are lacking in that department and only come with a disinfectant wipe. Not good enough in my opinion. There is a reason you are wiped down with iodine before surgery. Because it works. These single use wipes are just the thing to put into your first aid kits to help round them out and make them as compete as you can for maximum effectiveness. I have purchased multiples of this product because you just can't beat the price for what you get. I've tried finding this or a similar product in stores with no luck. Every first aid kit should have several of these because before the bandaid goes on the wound should be cleaned.

Nice wipes, but they are fairly small. Inside each package is about a 1" square bit of gauze pad, well soaked in the iodine. Good for wiping a few square inches. Oddly enough, the individual package was pretty tricky to open. The package is pretty sturdy, and down near the bottom they have a start of a tear. If you don't get on that exact spot, the package isn't coming open. Now that I have done it once, it will be OK. If your first time trying to open one of these is when you have an owwie, it may take a bit.

These iodine packets great. I opened one up to check it out and they are plenty wet. They seemed small at first until I realized that they are folded in half in the packaging so they end up being 2 1/2" long by about 1 1/4" wide. I am putting together mini first aid kits for Christmas gifts and I thought that a couple of iodine packs would be a perfect addition for each kit. Of course I am keeping a few for myself as well since I ordered 5 boxes.
