USE METHOD

I bought these because I like the idea of having a rod holder and hook setter in one. I tried them out for the first time this past weekend on trout and they are definitely worth it and pretty exciting to see in action. Make sure your line roller is facing down so your line doesn't get tangled, but I was very impressed with how they worked and I'm looking forward to using them again.

Yo I had to look up the state laws I wasn't too sure if this was legal or not that's how good this worked I have caught more fish with this thing than ever in my entire life I'm going to buy two more. Also on a side note when this thing whips back it's coming back pretty dang hard so know where it's going to hit so you don't get hit in the face while adjusting it because It hook the fish and it almost got me oh and get a bell for it

When I first received these the spring was set a bit strong. But it is adjustable so after taking some tension off it these have worked extremely well. Very happy with them and will be buying more

Great product works great bought for my 5 year old and she can set it up with guidance and has already hooked 3 large pike . Me I use the other one just to hold my rod ,Great for them places where it's hard to find a place to set your rod down , there sturdy and easy to setup and clean , they fold for easy storage in just about ant tackle box or bag

Works when it works, doesnt when it doesn't. The sensitivity setting isnt very functional. In still water it isnt very sensitive at all on the most senstive setting and and you will need a pretty good strike to set it off. In current though the lease sensitive setting isnt strong enough to keep it from tripping. Better then nothing when you have to walk back to the truck for another beer, but you are much better off holding your rod. Build quality is excellent.
