MIDI on any steel string guitar. I did a solo of synth and guitar and it sounded great. Treat it well and it will do what’s needed.

I bought this for my experimental guitar and had to make modifications to the body so that sensor could be used on it. Given this is experimental guitar it’s not a cherished instrument so making mods that change the look is not a concern. If you’re buying this ensure you have the proper spacing around the bridge.I have this connected to windows pc running Reaper DAW. There are settings in Reaper that need to be enabled in order to make this work. In addition, the gap between the sting and the sensor is important- very important. To far and you’ll miss notes. Follow the manual. The sensitivity can be adjusted. You really have to play clean to make this work. If you’re expecting to do slides, bends, etc some vst’s will work while others struggle. Overall it seems very responsive.Now only if I could buy the knowledge to make music and have it inserted into my brain overnight, I’d be golden.

El producto desde el día uno no ha funcionado, mas con la diferencia de idioma supuse que experimentaba un problema de esta índole, mas tras varias semanas logré llevar el equipo con profesionales en equipos midi así como de audio en general. Hemos coincidido en que el equipo viene con un daño de fábrica entre la pastilla o micrófono y el transmisor. El equipo recibe perfectamente en la computadora por la usb, mas entre la pastilla y el transmisor existe un corte se señal.Al haber sido una inversión fuerte, mi estado de salud se deterioró, he sufrido por el temor a no ser compensado.Por este medio solicito su colaboración

I am a guitar player first and can fake my way around basic keyboard. I bought this to trigger my midi VSTs from a guitar rather than keyboard. I was worried about latency and a little pricey. Installation was easy enough with a little adjustment required but documented well enough to get through it. I can't tell any difference in latency than my keyboard. It has worked great and I have really enjoyed this addition. Within the first couple hours I knew I had zero regrets ordering this. I have not needed to use tech support so didn't grade that.

Lo uso con mi ipad, funciona perfecto, el software tiene muchas más opciones de las que imaginaba, dispara loops desde la guitarra, hace split de sonidos, looper, efectos...en fin. Y despues de probar el GK-3, pude comprobar que en efecto genera menos notas fantasma.

Don’t bother purchasing the $400 pickup unless you also plan to purchase the $200 foot pedal (on backorder). Tried using this with Bluetooth to a dedicated recording PC, the latency was horrible! The worse I have ever experienced with any equipment. None of the pro tips made any difference. The pickup install was easy enough, but volume knob felt cheap. Didn’t use it enough to break it, but definitely think it’s not built to last. Returned this product with complete packaging. It is taking over a month and still no refund. Amazingly irritated with this entire experience. Avoid this product!@Amazon what is taking so long to process the refund? You were able to get payment in real time but you’ve taking over a month for processing a simple refund— not reasonable!

Received the Triple Play and only the Synthmaster samples work. Not impressed. Spent a week trying to get the East West teaser and other sample packs to work. After a week of leaving several voice and emails Fishman finally contacted me. The East West teaser sample pack is no longer offered with the product. The East West teaser pack is why I purchased this unit. Fishman has stopped supporting the Tripleplay functionality in favor of moving to iOS and they aren't supporting the product other than as a legacy product. The Triple Play had good tracking but horrible latency issues. Fishman hasn't committed to improving the product from its current state and it is destined to die. $430 for just a Midi pickup is excessive I returned the Triple Play back to Amazon for a refund.
