I bought these for my 3 year old. These scissors are amazing there’s a latch that keeps it open to assist these young ones to cut paper without having a hard time opening the scissors. They are child safe, not sharp so I do feel comfortable having my 3 yo handle them. They are so very easy to use. Highly recommend.

Love these sisors. The smale spring helps learning to use sissors. My Granddaughter really wanted to use sissors and was getting frustrated with plastic sisors. I didn't want to give her sharp ones. Found these and they really work well. Cuts through paper and not hands, and gives that extra sping to learn to cut with sissors. I will get one for all my grand kids!

My son had no issue using these. He cuts left handed and right handed, so these were a great find. They are also very safe, as he put them in his mouth and was pretending to cut his nose with them. No injuries!

These are great first scissors for learners! I got them for my 2 year old and tried them myself before giving to her (literally tried cutting myself to check safety before letting her try them haha). I would never say never, but from my experience you’d have to try pretty intentionally to cut yourself with these. I of course still supervise since she’s so young, but I don’t stress at all that her skin is going to get nicked, I am just watching to make sure she’s only cutting things she’s supposed to and not gonna do anything wild and poke an eyeball. Lol. But I really feel pretty safe about her not getting cut with them on accident.The feature where it helps them open on their own is amazing while the kids are learning, and I love that you can switch it off so it’s totally manual once the kiddos have the idea. We are certainly far from that stage, though. 😆I’ll buy more of these whenever we need another pair!
