This outboard fuel line primer bulb looks and feels like it is very well made. The description states everything you want in a high-quality bulb. Don't let the plastic fuel line connections deter you from buying this product, some of the best fuel primer bulbs have the same plastic connections, they're not going to break unless you try to break them. In fact, I have found that the ones with the metal connections are cheaper and seem to fail more often, not because of those connections, but because of the most important parts of a primer bulb, which is a high-quality check valve that stabilizes the flow, and the composition of the bulb material. A thicker multi-layer low permeation marine grade material will be more resistant to fuel evaporation and this ethanol laced gasoline we have today, which eats up cheap primer bulbs and fuel lines. When it comes to primer bulbs stay away from the low-priced ones, you get what you pay for, and they will last five times longer.

Not a wimpy squeeze bulb, solid pump with real clamp bands holding the end in.
