Hard to apply to a surface that is already damp. It won’t stick. Make sure that you apply it to a dry surface.

I spent hours putting this tape on my doors. We didn’t get flooded this time but I do think this product would have helped. The width makes it very difficult to apply. It also took all of the paint off my door.

Uses product for the hurricane we had. Seal the outside door with no problems. Order rose about 5 inches had a little seepage, but it was controllable in my lanai. After the storm was over went outside peeled it off no residue on my door. We buy again and we always use their heavy rain seasons if needed.

This is like duct tape on steroids. It laughs at rain - water in general. It can take the Florida heat and humidity without complaint. While it is a bit tricky to work with it is as close to permanent as any tape can get. Be careful to place it exactly how you want it, the very first time, or it will fight you should adjustments be needed. Sure it's quite expensive, but we'll worth it. If you need a tape that is all business this is the tape you should get.

I live in Florida and would highly recommend this product. I helps keep water from coming in around doors. It is a must to seriously reduce the chance of flooding around doors and windows.

I live in an AE flood zone. I have FEMA flood insurance. My home flooded 3x from 2020-2021 during flash floods due to poor city infrastructure and delays in improvements. I have 2 flood gates as do my neighbors and while they do help, they don't completely stop water from entering under front and back doors. I saw a commercial for the Flex line of Flood Protection back in July and purchased a roll of Flex Tape to see if it helped. Today we had flash flood warnings in the DC area and tons of rain in a very short time. Hastily applied this tape to the INTERIOR of my storm doors (some applied wet with the ongoing storm and still stuck just fine) to try and seal the gaps around the bottom portion of the door. Placed the flood gates between the 2 doors then closed the main door and taped along the inside as another barrier. Then waited and watched the water rising outside, frequently checking the doors for water. Nothing. Once the rainwater receded, stripped off the tape, opened the main doors to find the first layer on the interior of both storm doors kept the water out completely. Flood gates weren't even wet. Didn't believe it until I got outside and learned my neighbors only used flood gates and had water enter their homes. Immediately shared the link with everyone I could think of and bought 2 more rolls. Still amazed that it worked!

followed directions applied tape to a very smooth brick and submerged in a 5 gallon pale of water to see if it would stick. It did stick for a few hours so i left it over night and when i checked it the next morning the tape was no longer stuck to the brick. My house is concrete block so I dont think this will work well sealing the sides and bottoms of doors as they advertise. Will use sandbags and plastic if or when we have another major rain event. I tried again using sellers recommendation and let the tape cure on a piece of dry wood molding for 72 hours inside my garage . the tape adheared very well but after a few hours submerged in water the tape just fell off the molding. This tape would be useless in a flood situation and should not be sold as advertised. Dont waste your money on this product.
