The waist can be a little bendy so be sure it is stable and straight for standing while it's still soft. It's a lovely design. Very popular. I do in a natural beeswax light yellow.

The 'embossing' on this mold is an attractive floral pattern that caught my eye, and in person it still looks the same. However I did not have the best of times actually using this. One small mention first to the fact that it came slightly deformed...it has a tendency to push inwards and instead of being a round cylinder, it is more oval at the top. Wax will push it out slightly, but my finished product still came in somewhat oval.Secondly, I tested this using the remnants of soy jar candles. This was probably not the right choice, as it was really not easy to remove from the mold, and the softness of the wax was scuffed easily. I have used the same mixture in other molds successfully however. That being said, I think this would be a much easier demold with beeswax, paraffin or a combination of waxes to give it a bit firmer texture.

It's hard to make a candle without the wick being seen in the center of her back.
