I got the 3mm version of these so I would have some smaller beads to use when tying flies. They are definitely small! I have to use them on really small flies. The color is great, and it hasn’t chipped on any of the flies I’ve used. I’ve even been able to reuse them to tie new flies when the one I’m using it on gets destroyed. I like these, and I would recommend them.

I ordered 4mm weights and they arrived around 3mm. There were 100 of them per the description, just smaller than expected. The color was correct.

These are nice fly tying beads. I got the larger size as I'm also planning to use as weights for lake fishing. I like that they're tungsten so are a nice heavy metal with a small size at the same time. I would likely order some smaller ones for fly fishing as in the upper watershed areas we seem to need more tiny flys to get bites but I'm also a poor fisherman!Overall they're great and working just fine for my purposes and seem well made. Mine are fairly consistent, or consistent enough but they're definitely not perfect but I have no issues with that. I'm sure this bag will last me quite a while too.

Counted the pack because I saw that another reviewer came up short. So did I. The 100 bead pack only had 98 beads. If this were a $2 pack of beads, I wouldn't care. But a $16 pack should have the right number (short by $0.32).I measured a few and got a range of 3.97 - 4.00mm diameter. Shape looks uniform. Some had a little frosted effect on the inside of the larger hole, but that doesn't matter for me.Got these for jewelry and especially friendship bracelets. I know that's a bit much in cost for beads for that purpose, but they don't corrode easily, they are hypoallergenic, and they are almost as dense as gold. Great for spacers.Tungsten is slightly magnetic (paramagnetic), so these stick lightly to a magnet, as shown in the photo. Check out the Wikipedia entry for more interesting info.

These are nice lead free, tungsten beads. I have used the slotted ones for some projects and needed these that are not slotted to add to my fly tying kit. These are perfect to add a little weight to your fly and double as a nice shiny attraction to your fly. I have not had any issues with them becoming tarnished or loosing their bright shiny color. They are a good value for the price

Use these for tying smaller streamers like wooly buggers in size 8. Seems to be of good quality and the beads are consistent.

These Tungsten beads were great when I was tying my flies. I found the beads to be heavy and the hole was designed to get around the bend of the hook, but holds tight at the head once in place. The beads are all the same color and none have chipped, even after using the flies in the water. The Tungsten bead fly I made to test the beads did drop as expected in the water and the color reflected in the water too. There were 100 beads in the pack and I've made about a dozen flies so far with great results.
