I have shown Samoyeds for over 45 years and used various heavy duty blow dryers. Lower end dryers can dry the surface coat but not get down to the skin, leading to hot spots on the dog. This dryer has the power to thoroughly dry a dog completely without taking hours. It is powerful and noisy, but my dogs are used to that type of noise as dog show grounds are full of people using dryers at the same time. I also like that I used this on my dog when he was dry, before his bath, getting a lot of loose hair and dirt from his coat, making bathing and subsequent drying easier. I also like that the hose expands when in use and retracts when the blower is off, making for easier storage and transport to shows.

Got this to dry my golden retriever at home after bathing. This thing has tons of power! I couldn’t even try it full power because it was so powerful. Dried my dog pretty quickly. Does not have heat. Blower is quite heavy. Came with 3 different nozzles and extra filters. Great product but is very pricey.

I recently adopted a little black German Shepherd Dog. She's a peach, and I love her dearly, so I spoil her wherever I can. She's not bad with baths, though doesn't care for it, and with her thick hair we spend too much time drying her with towels. I was looking for an alternative, so when I saw this I had to try it.It arrived in a sturdy box, well-padded and in near-mint condition. It included the dryer, a hose, and a couple of attachments. This is a pretty powerful dryer. It's to the point where it would easily blow leaves off my porch. Frankly, it's overpowered. At the lowest setting it pumps out a ton of air, and unfortunately it's very noisy. It scares my dog, so I'm not sure how much use I'll get out of it.This is a nice dryer, but it should have a much lower setting for its lowest, and with reduced noise for dogs who are adverse to very loud sounds.

This thing is heavy and seems to be very durable. I have seen several products from the Flying Pig and I almost got one of their washing stations for my dogs that are always dirty and wanted to be able to give them a wash instead of taking them to the groomers every month. For the price of this one item I would take my dogs to the groomer 5 times to get my money back. It is very heavy, or did I already say that! It is very powerful, a lot more than what I was expecting. Most other dog blowers are super cheap and plastic, this is not one of those things. I turned it to the lowest setting and the thing turned on and it spins up before starting to blow, and even on the lowest setting it kicks out a tremendous amount of air. My youngest dog doesn't mind it at all and actually I have to calm her down because she wants to play, the older dog doesn't even like vacuum noises so she is a little leary of it. But after some coaxing she came over and let me try it on her. This thing will dry your dogs hair so much faster than I anticipated. The setting on high is very powerful and neither of them liked it that high of a setting. It is noisy as well, even on the lowest setting. But I will take that for every pennies worth with the amount of time the dogs have to actually sit there and get fully dry. Highly recommend
