If you've got screens, you should have a kit like this on hand. I've replaced countless screens in my lifetime, so I'm pretty familiar with the tools. This kit measures up to any other that I've used. It comes with a very long spline that'll easy be used for a few windows, and enough for mistakes. Great gift for a new homeowner or flipper.

This kit was exactly what I needed to fix my screen that my dog pushed thru. It was very easy to put the screen in securely, and it looks great.

Thus is a well thought out screening kit with spline, a hook for removing old spline and the screen, and a roller tool to efficiently insert spline into the screen frame channel. I used this kit to replace my old screening and only had to buy the screening material. I was able to frame five standard frames and had spline left over. The hook is a genius tool that helped remove the old spline that had started to harden with age then I used it to grab the old screen for removal. The sturdy roller has two ends, one grooved that the spline fits in to place it in the channel and the tapered end that pushes the spline fully in. Having the right tools helps to get a great result and it literally only took an hour for five windows. I'm going to recommend using this kit to friends who have an upcoming screening project. I saved money doing this myself and would highly recommend.

This set comes with everything you need to repair a screen door-except the screen. It was easy to use and helped make the job a lot easier.

The kit iI initially thought this "Screen Repair Kit" was for patching small problems like holes or tears, but I should have noticed that the three elements in the kit are for completely removing the old screen and installing the new screen. Well, I had one old screen sitting in the garage, so I gave it a try. I simply wasn't any good at it. The fitst time I tried it, I could not get the screen to have the smooth tension to keep it flat. The second time I tried, I gave up. If you already know how to do this, great! I'm giving it 5 stars because it appears to be all you need to fix a screen.

If I had a bunch to do then this wouldn't be the right set but for just a window or two this worked perfectly. Window screen repair job easy.Ordered this with a roll of "36 in x 25 Charcoal Super Solar Screen Roll" from home depot.
