Great for weekend hobbyists like me who tinker with guitar capacitors and resistors. I dont do anything too crazy but i do need to check value of parts that sometimes dont have any markings like small poly caps. This works great for those kinds of things. Its rechargeable via usb c cable. Display is bright and the tweezers works fine and comes with curved tweezer ends as well. Comes with a nice case, quality looks great!

Three are a few things I would change about this device.1. It ‘s really built for a right handed person, not an ambidextrous one. I have a pulse- oxcimiter that rotates its digital display 90 degrees each time you press the power button. That’s what this needs.2. I saw one review that faulted the accuracy of measured electrolytic capacitor. Fact: Elecrrolytic caps ALWAYS show a value other than what they are labeled. For this “in-circuit” tester what you need is something to prove that a part is working, not shorted or open. Not lab test just reasonable accuracy.3. I measured some surface mount parts that amazed me of the amount packed in to themAn electron microscope would be needed to read a lable on some of these but these tweezers show amazing values.4.. The included case is a thoughtful inclusion that makes a professional appearance.Convinced me to buy this.5. The teeny battery has a suprising long life. The operating menu shows an auto-power off function but I am not sure that works.6. Menu includes choosing ENG or Chinese.A DIP jumper would better a way to make that choice.7. Manual language ? These manuals are tiny and cheap.Print one in English & one in Chinese. I’ll throw away witch ever one I don’t need/want.The price for this device is perfect for what you get.Just don’t expect lab-quaity testing AND don’t expect to meaure voltage or current.L ,C, or R. If you don’t know what those things are don’t buy one of these or complain when you found it dead after you tried to measure amps or volts

My wife bought me this for Christmas and it has changed my life! Well, my workflow anyway. Great tool for troubleshooting and multi-frequency esr testing to boot, all one handed. Simply awesome

It does not do voltage but it works great for testing resistors and diodes and finding fault in a circuit board. The screen is bright and easy to read.

I bought this mainly for measuring capacitors during repairs. The first 2 I measured were approximately 20% low. I tried the same capacitors with my multimeter and they were approximately 5% out.I then tried several new capacitors and all measured approximately 20% low. The same capacitors tested on a different multimeter measured around 5% low.Unfortunately this will be going back due to the inaccurate measurements.

At this price, you get a very usable tweezer LCR meter. No complaints. Just make sure you discharge any electrolytic capacitors you measure. It does not compensate for right or left-hand operation. The hooked tweezer points make it easier to pick up small components. It looks like there may be an external software program for data logging and storage.

I got it to test led's and smd's but the number will never stay still and won't even stay close

I keep this on my workbench because it’s easy to use and very accurate (for a low cost device). It’s rechargeable, easy to use, and with the multi frequency test settings, able to detect defective components quickly (especially capacitors). I recommend having one of these on any electronics workbench. And the best thing, is that it’s not only for SMD components!

I also have FNIRSI Geiger counter. Same thing. Basic capability at the lowest price. I tested mine on a range of components for capacitance, inductance, resistance, and diode. All values displayed were within expectations. This will be very useful for checking components before use. Given planned tariffs on Chinese goods, this device is likely to be more expensive in the future so this is a good time to buy if you expect needing it.
