I checked that both heat and cooling worked when I got product. I guess I didn't have the heat setting kn long enough to realize it only blows for a few seconds then doesn't blow hot air around. I found this out after I could return to Amazon. I tried to reconcile with company directly. They gave me the run around saying they would send me a new one but the address I sent them couldn't be delivered to. Funny Amazon delivered to that same address. Then offered me a refund through Amazon. I told them I would jot be giving them any cc info. That was the last I heard from them.I would not recommend this product.

This heater fan is great for a basement bedroom, which is where we installed it for my daughter to be comfortable in her room. It tends to be cold in the summer with the AC running, so she actaully does enjoy being able to heat it on some summer days, but she can also open the window and turn on the fan function. The switch between heating and cooling is very simple, and works well. There is also a remote that allows you to operate it in either mode. The consturction is not super high quality, it's likely plastic - mostly, but it works fine and seems well made. No complaints.

This could be a great product, but there are a couple of significant issues. First, the remote is great to have, but since the digital display is on top of the unit, you can’t see what is changing when you use the remote from any distance. So, if I push the + sign to raise the temperature, I can’t see what temp it’s set at. Second, and most importantly, the heater does not blow strongly enough to make the heat travel at ALL. I can only feel the heat if I’m literally inches away from the unit. Very disappointed.

Worth the money, works really week, it heats up very fast and very well. Compared to a comfort zone fan, this one is by far bigger and better.
