PRINCIPLE OF FOOT VALVE
1. ONE-WAY FLOW PRINCIPLE
When the liquid flows in from the bottom of the valve body, the liquid pressure overcomes the spring force and pushes the valve flap upward to open, and the liquid enters the pipeline system through the valve smoothly.
When the liquid stops flowing or backflow occurs, the valve flap in the spring force and the liquid backflow pressure under the joint action of the rapid closure, sealing the valve body inlet, preventing the liquid backflow back to the source container, to ensure that the liquid in the pipeline system is always unidirectional flow.
2. FILTRATION PRINCIPLE
The screen is installed at the entrance of the valve body, when the liquid flows to the valve body, the impurity particles in the liquid whose size is larger than the aperture of the screen are intercepted on the outside of the screen, while the clean liquid can enter the valve body through the screen, and then enter the pipeline system, thus realizing the filtration function and preventing the impurities from entering into the internal valve and the subsequent pipelines and equipments.
