Adapter is very well built and made out of a high quality grade of metal. It is a bit heavy, so keep that in mind if weight is a concern.

Being the only RF T-ring adapter, that I could find, I having a hard time finding the right hardware to make it work without using the eyepiece adapter. The included M42 thread doesn't work for me because the scope has M48 male thread and not M42 male. Because of the size of the casing (+20mm), there's not a lot of leeway to add more adapters and still come in under the normal back focus. However, it would fit the scope out of the box as is, if I weren't using the flattener/reducer. So now, I need a very special M48 female adapter (instead of the included special rotating M42 ring) that is proving difficult to find. Long story short, if I want to use my Canon on the scope, I need to remove my flattener. I kind wish Fotasy would have just used a normal T-Ring that I could add spacers and various adapters to if needed. But I can see this working fine for some people, especially a base setup. I'm using an SVBony SV550. Overall, it's a nice piece, just might limit you depending on your setup.

This item does not fit the Canon EOS RP camera. I tried twice and the item as manufactured cannot be used. Either it is mislabeled or there is a basic manufacturing fault. For adapters to fit the EOS RF camera series, find another brand. For example, K&F makes one which fits perfectly.

Well built and strong mount but the inside is painted with a gloss paint and has to be repainted with a non reflective matt paint. Light will reflect and harm the image .
